They let me know if five minutes before hearing and never told me what to expect. Never talk to me about anything never spoke to him. he did absolutely nothing for my case, nor informed me of anything. He's basically an invisible lawyer that shows up at the last minute to try to win a case that he really knows nothing about me as a client or my case and anything he does know he doesn't share with me or what to expect.

I would give zero stars if possible. My son, who has a a mental health issue as well as…read moredevelopmental disabilities hired Hatfield Law to assist him in applying for SSI disability because he was unsure how to maximize his benefits. They interviewed him on the phone too fill out his application and contacted his mental health doctor to get those medical records; and that is absolutely all they did. They gave no advice as to how to best complete the application. Not did they assist with all the subsequent paper work he was sent. He thought that the more dependent he appeared, the more likely he was to get benefits. As he had no income at the time, he did not indicate any expectation or requirement of helping with future living expenses. And Hatfield did not bother to explain that this would reduce his benefit by $314, so that he now has to help with household expenses out of his reduced benefit. And this likely will put him on the street in the future. He contacted them later and asked for help in getting the full amount, but received no response. When he was granted benefits, however, they were happy to take his $8000 back payments for giving no advice and no help other than what he could have done himself

OlsenDaines - Kevin D. Swartz

I hired OlsenDaines for my bankruptcy case in 2025. I would not recommend them, after my…read moreexperience. TL;DR: My lack of confidence in OlsenDaines' data management and organization, as well as staff training and communication, is why I can't recommend them. Your priorities may be different than mine, so here's a breakdown. __The Good:__ They allow you to pay in installments. Total cost was in line with the standard/average (just over $2,000). The lawyer himself was competent, attentive, and personable. We only met once (to review and sign documents), and he ensured that documentation was comprehensive and that I knew what to expect. There was follow-up after the trustee meeting, so I didn't have to wonder. __The Bad:__ I've never dealt with a more chaotic and incompetent office staff. I started off with one assistant (who requested a specific set of documents from me), then a month later was handed off to someone who appears to be disconnected from the process entirely. This person was unable to track what items I'd sent and which I needed to send. Every few weeks, they'd email saying they needed something which I'd already sent. When I pushed back, they'd say they needed something else, totally different, now. They'd ask for things that didn't apply to my case, I'd explain why I couldn't provide those, they'd say OK....then 3 weeks later ask for that same thing. They didn't understand what they were asking for, or why. "The lady who does our filing said so" was the answer on more than one occassion. This meant that I was repeatedly forced to do work they could (and should) have done, like list out every paystub I submitted to them on a spreadsheet, which it turns out they didn't actually need. Even after I paid in full and submitted all the documents requested, they delayed filing and continued to ask me to submit more things (including items I'd already submitted). So apparently the person asking for sensitive personal information didn't have visibility into the data they'd already collected. If they don't have established processes and tools to manage my data, I assume they also aren't protecting it. I was handed off to yet another person after the filing, to sign paperwork. And yet *another* person sent me an update on the case and asked me to leave a review. None of these individuals are who I spoke with initially on the phone, when I hired OlsenDaines. None of them explained why I was being handed off to them. And none of them laid out what to expect from their office during the process--so each handoff was a worrying surprise.
