Robert Taylor-Maning is great at helping you and you family plan for the future. Robert helps make…read morethe hard conversations easier.

If you are reading this, you probably need a lawyer!…read more Robert Taylor-Manning is a specialist in Elder law. We had the works done: wills, powers of attorney (healthcare, financial, and others - even vacation!), burial planning, letters of intro and explanation, and a managed trust for a disabled adult child. He knows all the little-used, overlooked ways the law (even in WA!) allows you to retain assets for the healthy spouse to live on (and in!) when an illness requires an extensive stay in a specialized care facility. Robert will speak regular conversational English (not "legalese"), treat you with respect, and work within your particular situation using his carefully-researched knowledge and insight to save you money and grief down the road. He charged us a very reasonable package fee, and didn't rush us through any small print. He explained EVERYTHING in every document he provided, before we signed them. We are no longer carefree teenagers who believe," ...it can't happen to me!" If you own a home (or a Tesla...!), have spouse or partner, and/or heirs, you need a lawyer. Don't take any chances with your loved ones' financial future. Make sure you control you own medical decisions, designate your own decision-makers, and even indicate who will raise your children if disaster or disability strikes! We waited, always thinking it would be too expensive. We were wrong, on both counts. The incredible feeling of security when these documents are done will ease your anxiety about an uncertain future. "Trust"us! (Little estate-planning pun there, sorry!) And, please, remember when on Yelp, you can click on any reviewer to see other reviews they have submitted. I used them for my estate planning which included 17 documents. Although they are knowledgeable,…read morethe errors in the documents and the number of times I had to make corrections was unacceptable. We had to go through at least 4 iterations and reviews, each time with me finding the errors. I am used to and expect my attorney to be the one ensuring the documents are correct, not the other way around. Also their follow through was terrible. I have had to reach out to them numerous times to remind them that I was awaiting either corrections or the actual documents. We started this process last October and here it is late July and I am still waiting on an item.

I found them on google and after talking with Conner I felt confident hey could help me with…read moreprobating an estate. I paid them 6000 in june and finally at the end of ausust and numerous different personell they filed the (correct) paperwork for me to be representative of the estate. I also got an email few days later saying that my retainer had been used up and not refilled. I sm still in shock for that. they did nothing except have me fill out same paperwork 3 or 4 times because they changed attorney or it was worded wrong. The only thing they did besides consult with each other and screw up paperwork. The invoices are ridiculous to understand. every time they think about you, they bill you for it! it cost me 6000.00 and 3 months ,to have them open probate. i called few months later and they said they would get back to me. only thing I've received is a bill above my 6000 for a follow up call AFTER they dropped me it seems to me by numerous reviews this is common practice for them. I am also filing a complaint with Washington state bar against them. Please read reviews first before even thinking about this firm.
