As a small business owner my office is in my home & truck. Plenty of small business owners keep their equipment at home. Since when is it that you can't operate out of a home? The all American "we started our business in our garage" is being trampled on by these guys. They canceled my policy on the basis that I park my trucks in my yard. Small business owners beware of this company & double check what they're saying! Your property may not be insured. Do NOT Recommend

I have had many different…read moreinsurance companies for cars and houses in the past 15 years, and I have never been as happy as I am with Scott Smith State Farm. He calls at least once a year to discuss ways to lower our rates. To make sure that we have the correct coverage for our needs, and he calls just to tell us when our rates go down. He is one of the most honest and kind people. All the people that work in the office are amazing and kind. They are always helpful and they get things done quickly. Very quickly. Love this insurance agent and the staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else, even if it was less expensive (but it's not because he gets us amazing rates)! Couldn't ask for better.

They canceled us without notice. We had to go in person to talk to them never gave us a refund. Called again and they said they would call back and never did. They couldn't get our information right they added extra charges for no reason. They charged us two months and we only got a month of coverage.

Jason called and said basically "No we don't really need customers like you who are going to "flame" us because it's not our fault. We have other customers patiently waiting for corporate to fix their bills too" Wow. Just bend over and take it from State Farm because corporate is the bad guy. Real nice.

I have been with State Farm for 30 years - both home and auto. They called me to tell me that they…read morewere cancelling the auto insurance because my daughter had two tickes this year. No problem, let's boot her off. The lady informed me that they were cancelling EVERYONE. My daughter is in college and doesn't even live with me and my son has his own home now and can't even get insured with them on his own? Both of our driving records are clean. So I am moving my home insurance as well, elsewhere now - after 30 years - which counts for nothing to this company. Customer loyalty is not valued. Incredibly horrified they would cancel everyone and not just remove my daughter who doesn't even live with me. After researching around I now have found that there are far cheaper rates out there for the same coverages and I have been over-paying for years. I would encourage everyone with State Farm - Jason Cowgill - to look around and switch. You will save money and later heartache. Find a company that values their customers, State Farm - Jason Cowgill is not one of them.
