He showed up promptly for the estimate and assured me that he could do the entire remodel within a 2 week timeframe and under 10K. And this is where the trouble started.... After I received the quote in my email, I contacted Travis about starting work. (Initial estimate was dated Feb) but I was out of country for a few months, so we scheduled for May. Memorial weekend came and went and when I didn't hear from him, I reached out. He told me he was busy through June. We then scheduled for July. July 4th came and went. He is terrible at communicating. Every time I texted him, he asked who I was. He apparently does not need the work so I hired another contractor to do the job and it turns out much less $ than Travis quoted. I would not recommend him to anyone. I understand people have different experiences; this is mine.

Several other companies told me the door needed to be fully replaced, but Mike took the time to assess the issue and was able to fix it by making adjustments, adding new weather stripping, and properly sealing it. The door now fits tight and functions exactly as it should. My tenant was very happy with the result, especially knowing it's now sealed well enough to keep scorpions out. She meticulously painted our French patio door and side windows (better than when it was new!) plus she primed and painted inside and out. Toni was super careful around the new cabinets and helped us pick the best colors of Dunn-Edwards soft coated semi-gloss for the kitchen and entry area. Her work ethic was so great and we will have her back to paint the great room and halls after everything is finished in the kitchen.
