It is such a shame that someone could ow a company that is suppose to service patrons, and yet their workers treat the patrons with horrible service. Called for a ride at 12:45. Dispatcher said "okay be there in a minute" said goodbye to my friends and waited outside. 1:20am still no cab. I call back and they said "cab 4 is finishing a job and will be right there." 1:45 still no cab. Called again and they said cab 4 will be there in a few minutes. 2:00 the place I was at closed, so I had to walk somewhere else. I called the dispatcher and told him where I went to. He said "why did you move? Cab 4 is almost there. I'll send him to your new location though." 2:10am still no cab. I call back and the dispatcher said he came and no one was there. I was just waiting inside because it was freezing out. And the driver never called me to let me know he was outside. The dispatcher said the cab was dropping off someone 4 minutes away and would come to me next. And I have to wait outside. 2:40am the driver finally shows up to pick me up. I have used W.E.R. Yellow Cab since I moved to Watertown at the end of January 2021. I have had many issues with them not showing up on time when I've called hours ahead for a specific time. I am DISABLED. One time, they didn't even have my ride on their schedule that I booked the night before. I called at 10:30 PM, last night, to book a ride for my Covid test drive through, for a procedure at the hospital Monday. It was a 9:05 AM appointment. I asked last night's normal dispatcher, who is always nice, as opposed to the daytime one who always lies about times, and is not nice, what a decent time was to pick me up. The dispatcher last night picked my pickup time of 8:45 AM, knowing I had to be there around 9:05, and drive through. Needless to say, the cab was not there on time again this morning. I called once to see where it was, and the dispatcher seemed confused and needed to know where I was coming from again. Then he said, oh yeah, your cab will be there any minute. 10 more minutes went by, and it was 8:58 am, and still no cab. So, I call again to ask as to why if I called 11 hours ahead they couldn't get a cab to me on time again, and that he still wasn't there. The day dispatcher, who is very bad at his job, began to raise his voice at me, and as the cab driver arrived, I was opening the door to get in, and he told the driver to leave me and drive away, dragging me halfway down our parking lot. I use a rollator or cane. I can not walk without them. So, I was dragged for a bit, and then almost fell headfirst onto the ground, and bent my cane, as the driver took off with his side door wide open. Then I called the dispatcher back, and he began to threaten me with harassment after he violated the ADA act. The hospital asks for me to call them after 40 because I need to be discharged. After being told my driver was on the way and waiting outside for 15 minutes (which may not seem long but considering the short distance the driver would have to travel to me and the 20 degree weather) I called the dispatcher back to politely ask how much longer and the dispatcher said, "if you want faster service, call someone else" and hung up in my face. IMO, the worst cab service ever. They usually take about 45 min - 1 hr to arrive, and I've gotten charged different prices so many times that I know I've gotten ripped off at least a few times. I call yellow cab all the time. Some days they're early and sometimes, like today, they're not. I called in almost 2 hours ahead of time to get picked up and taken to my job. Mind you I always set the time to be picked up 30 mins prior to when I have to be at work because sometimes they have to pick up other customers along the way. I set my pick up at 5:30. Now I only live 10 mins away. The cab didn't arrive to 5:55. I work at 6. I called to see where the cab was. And by 5:50 called again. After trying to explain to dispatch that I will be late, I was abruptly hung up on. Really guys. I usually don't say anything. Drivers have one job. Pick up customers. I've used Yellow Cab a couple of times and most of the time, they are pretty good about coming on time. The only thing is you need to call in ahead at least 2 hours prior. If you do call last minute for a pick up, expect a 30 mins to an hour wait. Most drivers are pretty nice but once I had a driver who didn't even help me with my luggage. read more

Perpetually late and unreliable. When given an hour of lead time to pick you up the cab will still be anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours late. When you call the dispatch to ask for the time the cab will arrive, the dispatcher says either "he's a couple minutes out" or "you're next" then hangs up. Had a bad experience with this company. The first cab that came to pick me up asked me if my "dog" who is my service animal was getting in the cab. I of course said yes. As I need him to help me get around. She said "well not in my cab". After I mentioned that was illegal and she could call her manager I got in the cab only to have her to have tell me to get out of the cab again. When placing the call I specified our timeline and the woman gave me an estimated wait time of 45 minutes to an hour. An hour and 45 minutes later I called back, asked for an ETA as our timeline was growing thiner, I was told the cab had left post and was on its way... I live in Carthage, which is roughly a 20 minute drive from post... An hour after that I called back asking where he was, I was told he was in Carthage and should be here any moment. 25 minutes later, still no cab, I tried calling back twice, each call going to the automated message. So we got a cab from a diner in Watertown and about 2 minutes into the ride back to fort drum I was 100% sure our driver was drunk. So I called their dispatch and informed them and the man on the phone said "nahh my drivers aren't drunk" good to know that when your customers bring up a very very crucial concern you just blow it off because you "trust" them.
