Most of the time, the driver was even early. But, then there were a few bad times. Three to be exact. On three different occasions, they didn't show up at all, and I missed my doctor appointments. On two of the occasions, I was able to call once I realized they weren't coming and reschedule with my doctor, but when I called North Country Transportation to inquire about the ride, no one answered any of the times. I left voice mails on these days, including today, when they didn't show, and no one responded. I sent a text to the number, and on the days they didn't show up, no one responded. I waited and kept trying to contact them until there were only fifteen minutes to get to my appointment and then had to reschedule with my doctor and they still didn't show at all. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming, and I have to believe after this happening a few times that they knew they weren't going to come. Because on most occasions when I had a ride set up with them, if I sent a text, someone replied pretty quickly. Or, if I left a voice mail, someone would text me back. But on all of the occasions where they didn't show, no one responded at all to either. The ride was set up to be one hour before the appointment. That's plenty of time, and it's pretty poor practice for a business to just not show up, and not respond to communications. It's not even like I was impolite or angry or anything when I left a message about it. I was polite and just inquiring whether someone was coming. No response. If you miss three doctor appointments in a year, a lot of doctors will stop seeing you, so I can't afford to take a chance on these guys anymore. I'm sure they don't care, but if they keep doing this to people, they probably won't be around for long.

Arrived in Syracuse airport, expecting him to be waiting in his vehicle. Not so, and we wandered around for almost an hour getting more anxious when I went inside to get out of the cold and there he was with a sign. He had figured we would be at the luggage retrieval, but we had none. He was very gracious about this mix up, but Dino please let your clients know you cannot park at the waiting line of regular vehicles picking up. Had a very easy return into Canada. She was at my hotel at exactly 3:30 and had stayed over on her shift to make sure I had a ride to the airport. She was pleasant, the fare was extremely reasonable and she deserves the kudos for making sure a stranger in a strange place could get home. The Hampton Inn made my taxi arrangements and they even checked to confirm I was scheduled. I made my flight with plenty of time to have a coffee preflight. I recently booked them for a trip to the Caribbean, and everything seemed great at the beginning, driver arrived on time, it was a bit steep but I was planning for a stress free trip. When it came to come home, Our flight was delayed, I immediately texted the driver, and emailed the company. To my shock and frustration, despite me providing over five hours of notice of delay, and new arrival time, they declared this as extended waiting time for the driver. (Who by the way wouldn't have left yet). OK, so I've considered if we were sharing a ride with strangers, sure obviously can't make passengers wait, but an email before we left our vacation confirmed that the return trip would be Private, meaning we were the drivers only fare. So, under this policy, WHICH IS NOT CLEAR, you are subject to additional costs per hour. Was the flight delay our fault? NO! But we paid $800 up front 48hrs before our trip. So, they wanted to charge us an additional $450 some odd dollars for the time change. So, the total cost for the service greatly exceeded the round trip air fare for my vacation!! I don't understand how they're allowed to implement these ridiculous policies, but I am spreading awareness so this does not happen to anyone else. Read reviews on reddit too, apparently they are not even a great company to work for. Horrible company. What a headache.
