Joe is the Man for parts and service on appliances!…read more I have been working with Joe for years now. He has always been extremely helpful to me when I just needed a part for my dishwasher, or clothes dryer. I am generally a DYI kind of guy first then if I can't do it, I call a professional, and that is what Joe is. Today I called Joe, and just by chance he was able to come right out to help me with my refrigerator going on the blink. If it was 15 minutes from when I called him, I doubt it. I would not expect the service to be that fast everytime, but he has always been very diligent for me. His services are not cheap, not expensive, but reasonably priced for a call out and considering all the help he is given me in the past and some extra advice about my dishwasher and other appliances, I would say he gives great value for the price he charges. By all means, call Joe. From my experience he has been great. An Ottawa Resident.

My home came with a large Generac generator. Its a large unit that can easily power the entire…read morehouse, if I lose regular electric power. The generator already has helped us in the past due to power outages. The thing is like any type of machinery, it needs regular maintenance. I do not know the first thing about maintaining a generator and I normally shy away from anything too complex that is electrical. I used to have another company do my maintenance, but for some reason this year I could not get them to come over. I would leave them messages for weeks on end with no answer. I started looking around and found County Electric. I spoke to a saleswoman who advised that in order to get servicing, I would need to get a package for regular maintenance. This was different from the other place who I just paid whenever I needed the service. The package I chose was their silver package which offered the following: Two-year maintenance plan One visit per year First visit...................................$175 Thorough service Load bank test Fuel system maintenance Oil and filter inspection and replacement Battery and charger inspection Intake and exhaust inspection Extensive cleaning Second visit.............................$125 Basic service Oil and filter replacement Battery and charger inspection Not a bad deal and I liked that I did not have to worry about it the next year. They scheduled an appointment and serviced my generator. All in all a very good experience They also do installations of lights, ceiling fans. They do lighting designs and also do repairs. If you need electrical or generator services for residential and commercial in Greater Northwest Ohio including Ottawa, Kalida, Findlay, Lima, Van Wert, Continental, and Columbus Grove, call County Electric!

Two stars because our dryer did get fixed eventually…read more The set-up is all very strange. The hold music for the company sets up all these things that will happen to make the service smooth, but they didn't actually happen. We paid in full for all parts/service, but it took a month and three service visits and a cancelled appointment to get done. We freaked out about being out a lot of money and never knowing of it would actually get fixed.
