Bought a new stihl FSA 56 weed eater, after just a month the battery went bad, had to get another…read morebattery. Then less than a hour of use the weed eater stopped working completely! I took the weed eater in for service, after almost 3 months, and many phone conversations, was told that stihl warranty rep was replacing the weed eater. Then the service guys here at ace hardware said it was a trigger, and the weed eater wasn't going to be replaced, and after another 2 weeks, was told that it needed a new motor! When I asked about the replacement that was supposed to happen, I was called a liar, and when I finally came to pick it up after it was fixed,a repair guy became rude and verbally abusive with me,I told him I don't need him to treat me like that! He then told me to "take my piece of crap" and never come back! I planned on never doing business with these people anyway. If these people treat me like this,then they will do it to you too! BEWARE! These type of businesses will never change. Once they have your money, they will treat you like garbage! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I've heard and seen the management make fun of customers based on their religion, height, weight, a person's financial standing, and just by the way they look. They have nicknames for regulars they don't like. The accosiates are good people for the most part that need better management. The worst manager are the store manager and the short and FAT woman with colored hair. Those two are the bottom of society.

I need to update my review. A couple years ago I stated we would not be going back over service we…read morereceived there. Since then, we have been frequent shoppers at this Ace Hardware location. The store has been updated and now includes local and some not so local sporting and sports apparel. On one side of the store it is dedicated to these sports items and quite nice. The prices seem very reasonable and it's a great place for parents and school kids. They even have besides local teams some Ohio State and Michigan wear (and some other NCAA teams) On the other side of the store is their basic Hardware and the employees seem to know their business and are very helpful with any questions. They have a very nice paint department and the prices are comparable regarding the quality they offer. Rounding out the store is the ever delicious popcorn machine on the way out which is a favorite by all.
