It's always difficult when you move away from home and need to find that perfect nail salon that does your nails the way you like it, not the way they think it should be. Well, I think I found my place and it only took me two tries to find it! Thanks Yelp! you're a lifesaver [no really, you are]. I found this while searching and realizing not many other places have reviews. This isn't too far from my house and it had good reviews so I said why not! I am so happy I came here and I will definitely be going back. I wanted a Shellac French manicure, walk-in appointment. I didn't have to wait too long, there were only two technicians working and two women getting manicures, I was worried it would take a really long time but it didn't! They got me in right away and when I asked for the Shellac (gel) manicure, the girl said I didn't need a manicure I just needed a color change and cut down. She saved me money! Hooray! I was super happy that she told me because, really, I don't know the differences of manicures and getting my nails done/just changing colors. She did a GREAT job! I asked for a thicker line than most people ask and she made it perfect. I hope these last the two weeks without chipping, hopefully even longer. They got busier and I think another woman came in to help, I was worried they only had two technicians, but I think they have four. It looks pretty clean, a generic normal nail salon, nothing stood out to me decoration wise. I only spent $25 for the color and cut down, plus French - I will be back here again for a pedicure next time too! read more

Would come again I recommend Kim for manicures. I got a full set of gel nails for 70$ and they came out very nice. I also recommend Jimmy for pedicures he did very good and was gentle and nice. Friendly atmosphere, they do take walk ins, and accept cash app, 10/10 would come back read more

Can't stick to appointment times! They'll schedule for 4 and seat walk ins before you so you don't get seated until 5 or after.

I made an appointment yesterday for one pm today. I arrived with mask and woman at front saw me and looked up but was on phone and I didn't realize when I said I was there for one pm appointment. So I waited till she was off phone and she went around to take woman who just got her nails done back to pedicure area. She then proceeded to seat more people as I'm still waiting to be greeted or told what to do or where to sit. Still being ignored as she continued to look at me so I left. I was there about 5-7 minutes standing there and no one even spoke to me. There is a reason people make appointments bc they have work, jobs, and kids to attend to. Kim did a great job with my acrylic nails! I am new to the area and I needed a fill suddenly as I had two fingernails that needed to be wrapped in acrylic again that had broken completely off. I walked in without an appointment after work hours and was finished in just over an hour. It was $40. Kim asked about length and shape and they look fantastic- exactly what I wanted. Do not go to the lady with glasses at the end of the building by the sinks! She did a horrible job paid mor attention to everyone around her then my nails smudged my nails didn't fix them got red and green glitter pieces on my pink nails and none of them were the same shape or size! didn't bother to let me put my hands in the machine to dry them like everyone does was too worried about getting the next customer! Made me pay before I got my nails done and didn't let me use my card to tip! Which I shouldn't have tipped in the first place with how horrible she did... must have came from the Walmart nail salon! Great service for a great price, my nails look amazing. This was my first time at Vy nails and I will absolutely be going back. I have been at some salons just to leave disappointed that my nails are too thick or don't look like what I actually wanted, but at Vy this was not the case. The technicians quality of work was great, nice nail art and clean and neat application of the nail products, he seemed to have apt of experience. Excellent service. I had less than 24 hours to prepare for a gala and the team was amazingly helpful. They did an excellent job on waxing and my nails. Additionally, when I was unable to get a hair stylist they were able to do the Elisa hairstyle from Frozen for me! They were wonderful. They should expand into a full service salon. So for starters, I jut needed my gel polish soaked off, and because I didn't want anything else they seat me at a table and stick my hands in a bowl of straight acetone! And when I asked if she was going to buff any of this off the little girl says " oh so sorry! I don't work here, I'm just helping out!" Ok so! I originally came here with nails that were destroyed from another salon because they were always in a hurry and only used motor tools to take off polish. Ruined my nails but Vy has restored them. They take their time and don't use motor tools when they don't need to. Really like this place. It's clean, friendly and they take the time to get to know their customers. I scheduled an appointment for my 2 young daughters since it was one of their birthdays. We entered the building and it has an extremely strong smell which instantly gave me a headache. I asked a person who was sitting in the waiting area if it was just me, since my smell can be very sensitive. They assured me that it was very strong. I did not feel comfortable having my girls exposed to that for a hour to get their nails done. They really should get better ventilation. I am sure they do good work with all the rave reviews, however I could not get past the smell to experience it. It truly was a disappointment since it was my daughters birthday. read more
