As someone who's gone to this gym from time to time, there are a few pros & cons that I will list…read moreout in detail to help you better understand as to whether or not this gym is for you! Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. Until they have a robot that does my taxes, then it might go to 4.

Honestly, it seemed insanely crowded with the usual suspect machine hogs and the perma-tanned preening that you can enjoy for free on South Beach. Pro-tip... you can probably outfit a fairly decent home gym for six months of dues. But what do I know. Three stars for the grins.

I live like 30 mins from this location. Even though I signed up at Delran,…read moreI would much rather this location regardless of the crowd at times. People really sleep on effective customer service, I swear. This location is SO much better. The environment in my humble opinion is much better. Aside from me blending in (read between the lines), it is just more up beat, has better customer service and the management team is good to go. There might be one or two idiots, but those are usually Gen Z folks who usually dont know any better. Their treadmills are pretty updated, and to me, they are larger. And you CANNOT beat the Women's Gym which is safe and secured from idiots making underhanded comments. This location could be crowded to the ends of the earth, I will take the drive, rather than the negative Nancy little boys they have up in Delran's management team. I just love the Cherry Hill location. I'd rather work out in the "zoo", than share energy and air space with A holes. Keep up the good work Cherry Hill!

This gym is in a league of its own--far beyond any other gym I've been to. It has everything you…read morecould possibly want and then some. From tanning beds and massage services to a full range of free weights and machines, it's designed for every kind of workout. The turf area is perfect for freestyle exercises, and the movie theater adds a fun, unexpected touch that makes working out feel less like a chore. It's clear that a lot of thought went into making this gym a complete experience. Every visit feels like an opportunity to try something new, whether it's a different exercise, a recovery session, or just enjoying the amenities. If every gym offered this level of variety and care, staying fit would be a lot more exciting for everyone. Let's get down to brass tacks; when I joined this gym, I put it in the same category as any other 'gym' not realizing that it was in its own category with the staff & trainers being friendly whether you're a client in training or not, you get treated as if you're a long-lost friend whom they kiss.

I've never been to another planet fitness, and this is the first gym I've belonged to in over twenty years, so I can't really compare it to anywhere else. As another reviewer said, it's fine. It's a no frills kind of place, but it is spacious, clean, brightly lit, big variety in equipment, and has friendly staff. You won't find personal trainers, saunas, pools, or a smoothie bar, but it is still a great place to work out. The planet fitness model is to accept everyone. Phrases like "You belong!" are prominent on the walls. So there is a wide variety of ages and body types working out here. This particular planet fitness is in a great location, right in the heart of Westmont. It never gets obnoxiously crowded, and there is ample street parking as well as a lot on the side and out back. I've never had an issue finding a parking space, even when I go during peak hours. What brings it down to 4 stars is that there is almost always something broken or otherwise wrong when I'm there. I'm usually there when it opens at 5am on weekdays. One time the employee just didn't show up to open. Once there was no toilet paper in the men's room. Once every disinfectant spray bottle in the entire gym was empty, almost like the people who closed the night before were playing a prank on the opening staff. There is always something broken, which often takes a long time to be fixed. Sometimes it's one tv, sometimes the whole row, sometimes it's one stair master, once it was all of them. Recently, every shower in the men's locker room was out of order, then they were fixed, and a week later they were all broken again. These are minor annoyances, though, and like I said overall it is a good gym to work out in.

My normal PF is in Pasadena, CA (which also rules), but have unexpectedly been in South Jersey helping my parents navigate assisted living and have really appreciated the culture I experience at PF Westmont. The place is awesome and thanks again to the staff for making me feel at home.

From the AC not working in the summer for weeks at a time, to constantly leaking roofs, to equipment breaking routinely, this has been the norm. And for the most part we accepted it. What is now occurring is the total disrespect of the amazing staff. They are the ones who work day in and day out with these poor conditions and who have been the ones who have had to overcome and persevere, all with smiles on their faces, in spite of the mismanagement and lack of any support from the owner, Romit. SM, Kelsey and ASM, Brie have been amazing and always have a smile on their faces. Kelsey and Kam have held down the coaching at a time when classes were being canceled routinely due to coaching shortages previously. Now Romit is bringing in multiple "consultants" who are taking shifts away from all of the staff who have kept the doors open. This is unacceptable and I do not plan on being a member of this location any longer.

Their own coaches and front desk staff join other coaches' classes 10 minutes late, but their members are the ones who sacrifice classes if we arrive at 12:06PM. Coach's discretion is a joke if it's only applied to some people- why do their employees gain such favored benefits when our membership fees are paying their salary? Corporate and management are completely absent- in this economy, customer service is everything.
