I spoke with the owner upon delivery of my first phase of loose photos, and he laid out different options based on my wants, needs and budget. I was kept in the loop and notified of phases being complete. I then sent a few very old photo albums, with sticky pages, and even those came out great in the scanning process. No shadow or lights like you might come across if you try to do this on your own. Amazing quality! I am very happy with the process and completion.

I had a large number of DVD 's made by a crappy Phillips DVD player/Recorder from camcorder tapes…read more20+ years ago. The format of the DVD's the Phillips created are in an unreadable format that no pc dvd player or conversion s/w on the web I could find could get them to play. Therefore, paid International Video Tape Copy to find a way to do the conversion. It was tough they said. And a few were so bad I had to give them the original camcorder taped. In the end they converted them all to a readable format on memory drives. Job well done and they would checked in with me often giving updates on their progress to completion.

They have other locations, but hours vary, 2) Pay online at flatsfilm.com or scan the QR code on the form, 3) Send your roll off on its way! They will send a confirmation email once they receive your roll and have a 7-9 business day turnaround for up to 4 rolls. And usually they're quicker than that! They will send your scans to download via email in a convenient link. The quality is great and the prices are reasonable. Honorable mentions - they hold classes, have a community darkroom, and host fun art exhibits. I LOVE FLATS!!

They printed large photos for a few photo exhibits I hosted, a large banner for a partnership we had with Buffalo Bayou, and most recently, large signs for a 500-perdon event. Every time guests come over, they give me compliments. This is museum quality canvas art in my home. Tips: In order for Que to make a print, you have to have copyrights or permission from the artist. Lucky for me, Monet's artwork is in the public domain under U.S. copyright laws. Also they have a $150 minimum and prices have gone up lately due to supply costs, just like everyone else. My next project is printing on their aluminum metal dibond or acrylic -- haven't decided which yet, maybe both!
