He is at an age where he wants as much hair piled on top of his head as possible. The problem is that the shape was out of control, so his hair never looked "done." It was a wild, curly, bushy mushroom, and I couldn't take it any longer. Jo assured my son that he'd still have ALL the hair, but the shape would frame his face better AND not look like a fungus growing on top of his head! He got the full service treatment with his cut, so he was in heaven and feeling like a grown up. The haircut was exactly what I'd envisioned. Clean, fresh and totally still "big" like his heart desired. We were both happy when Jo finished working her magic. So, yes...he still goes to his regular barber every month, but the cut he got at Jo's shop was by far my favorite and the experience made it more than just a bi-weekly haircut. The shop itself is modern, stylish and clean. There are personal touches around the shop that tell Jo's story and where her passion comes from. Oh, and there are cold drinks, beer, and spirits, if you're so inclined. It's a whole vibe. If we lived in Houston, we'd be here every two weeks for all three of our boys!

This is about my 6th time here, the first barber wasn't the best. He seemed uninterested and he was pretty high but my cut was decent so I decided to give them another go. My 2nd time around, I booked for another barber; he was amazing. So I made him my permanent barber, however he no longer worked there anymore. So I was set up with Martin the 3rd time. Martin is very chill & professional. I liked that he takes his time with me. His attention to detail on lining me up is on point. He listens to my requests and is very patient. I also like that they put a hot towel on you after they're finished with your haircut. This is my 4th time with him & he never fails to have me looking good. Martin will be my permanent barber from now on. Overall, it was a great experience. Nice haircut along with good vibes & customer service. The booking system is easy especially when you do it online. You can also call in to book or walk in. I've seen folks walk in without booking and they were able to get in a chair pretty quickly. They have hair products for sale at the counter. They also have a mini fridge with complementary water, soda & beer for you to enjoy while you're getting your hair cut. You know me, I had to get some beer. Will I come back? Yep. When I finally left after 10 minutes someone got up to stop me and confirm "yes you do have an appointment for 11, someone will be right with you." Wasted my time and ignored me.
