I enjoyed this visit and shout out to David for making my fiancee and myself comfortable throughout the experience. David was attentive and knowledgeable around wedding bands for women and men. Price point looked reasonable as we looked at 14 and 18 karat bands. We had an appointment at 6 p.m. but it looked like we could've walked in (in fact we saw someone just walk in and was helped). read more

All of my friends and family have heard about how wonderful my experience here was in general, and with Christian in particular! This was the third place my partner and I went- I'd already found a ring I loved somewhere else but I knew it was good to look around. I'm so glad we came here! It's a more casual and mellow atmosphere than the other two places we went, which were lovely, but something a little smaller and more personal felt really good. It was also very helpful to be able to look in-person at all of the rings on display around the showroom. I had a strong idea what I wanted, but being able to see them all instead of explaining what I want and having someone go get a few at a time, was really nice. Every single person was so friendly. The person who greeted us, the person who let us know where to sit, and CHRISTIAN. So professional and informative, and also so wonderful to be helped by. Christian was super patient, personable, made it a really enjoyable time. It kindof felt like I had a really knowledgeable friend shopping with me (but it was him, it was Christian lol). We also found the same wedding band I'd fallen in love with elsewhere, but for a way easier price point. After thinking about it for a few days, my partner and I still felt so good about our experience with Vrai and Christian that on a whim, I BARTed back alone to do the "pick the diamond, make sure for sure" type of thing. Christian sat with me and STARED at settings and diaond combos with me. We tried on this ring- then that one- wait no the first one again- hang on, but see how this one does that- well what if... for 30-40 minutes. There's also really great information on their ecologically friendly process and, since I love the rings, we probably wold have gone with Vrai regardless. But Christian made it a no brainer and for this huge part of our life, we're very grateful for his help! read more

We had the best experience working with Leigh for both my engagement ring and wedding band. She helped us find the most beautiful marquise-cut stone and still encouraged me to try on a variety of styles outside my original scope, which made me feel confident that we truly explored every option. She was so personable, thoughtful, and incredibly conscientious about price and long-term investment, which we really appreciated. The entire process from selecting the stone to the organized shipping and handling on my fiancé's side, was seamless. She made everything feel easy and stress-free. We absolutely highly recommend her to anyone looking for an engagement ring, wedding band, or any meaningful piece of jewelry! read more

Vrai was our first stop on our engagement ring hunt and we booked an appointment and met with Leigh on a Sunday afternoon. Leigh was wonderful to work with and she was so helpful with information on the diamonds, rings and the industry. She was a huge help in narrowing things down for us. She definitely set the precedent for future appointments. After going to other appointments at other diamond shops, Leigh is definitely one of the reasons we want to go back to Vrai. And being able to see the origins of your diamond is definitely a huge plus! We also think Vrai has a wonderful selection of diamonds to choose from. I would suggest to book an in person appointment as it was very helpful. read more

Leigh, David, & Angela are the best !!!!!! Very accommodating and welcoming to the store. My partner & I went to the SF location several times and experienced the best customer service by jeweler. read more

IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING, DON'T BOTHER. You're better off going to a real jeweler, not an online retailer with a show room. I came in store twice to try this on in person, and also tried this style at another jeweler at the jewelry center. I enjoyed my experience and made the decision to purchase through VRAI, however was really disappointed when receiving my ring. I purchased the 5 stone ring in an oval shape. While I understand that there should be some degree of a bow tie effect due to the nature of the cut and light, the bow tie effect is really strong in the middle diamonds, affecting the overall look. It's very obvious and unpleasant. I was told by another jeweler that most jewelers wouldn't show these, and it's not as obvious with lab created diamonds since the cuts are supposed to be near perfect. Hence I thought going with VRAI and lab cut would be a great option to avoid it. Not the case here. I've reached out to customer service to ask if they were willing to look at it in person and fix, and there's no option to do that. Instead I was told my options are to return it and also pay for a recycling fee when im pretty certain no one would accept this one. It's just poorly selected stones. I know if I went to pick this up in person from real jeweler with a storefront and stone specialists, they would've provided customer service and satisfaction, since after all- these are diamonds. I'm kicking myself because i should've just went with another jeweler from the get go. I am happy to take my business elsewhere. I believe if you're getting earrings or another cut, maybe it'd be fine. But considering the customer service when receiving my ring was poor, I wouldn't recommend to anyone in the market to purchase. Joke is on me - don't buy a diamond ring online!! read more

My fiancé and I are very glad we chose VRAI for our engagement ring. Great in-store staff (thank you Leigh!); very helpful, patient and friendly. We visited multiple times during our ring shopping journey, and quickly settled on the perfect setting. Customer service in general was a huge help, as I went through the process of buying one ring only to decide later on that we wanted to upgrade to a larger diamond, and their return policies were very flexible and I was able to get a second ring in-hand, in time, and without any extra hassle! We also look forward to the yearly polishing service that VRAI offers. Highly recommended, and could not be more pleased! read more

I visited Vrai yesterday and had a wonderful experience trying on engagement rings with Ara. I loved Vrai's selection and I ended up finding the perfect one with Ara's help. Highly recommend Vrai for those starting their engagement ring shopping journey and I hope you can get an appointment with Ara! read more

Great experience working with Vanessa at VRAI in San Francisco. Extremely helpful, warm, and lovely to work with. They were friendly and very knowledgeable about there product and company which made us feel at ease with our decision. Definitely a "serve you" not "sell you" approach -- making our time with them that much more relaxing. We can't wait to receive our jewelry, and we will recommend VRAI to our friends for value, service, and the beauty of their products. read more

I purchased an engagement ring from Vrai San Francisco. It looked beautiful at first until my wife took the ring in to a different jeweler to get it cleaned. She noticed that the center stone looked a bit "cloudy." The jeweler told her that it wasn't dirty, it was the stone itself and that it had a cloudy appearance on the inside of the stone. When my wife put her engagement ring next to mine which was purchased from a different jeweler, it was quite clear that her ring did in fact look cloudy. So I called Vrai and spoke to the store manager, Leigh. She told me that she would contact the Customer Care Team to find out what could be done and then she would get back to me. She never did. I followed up with an email and a call. When I finally reached her, she said she passed my issue along to the original salesperson who gave me less than stellar customer service to begin with. I still haven't heard from him. They have poor customer service. They sell you up and charge you for a stone that is supposed to have the best clarity and cut but you don't get what you pay for. Then if you have an issue with your ring, they give you the run around and all kinds of excuses. I will never buy jewelry from Vrai again. read more

So much fun working with Leigh to find the perfect engagement ring! Love the sustainability of the diamonds. Knowing the Columbia River in WA is the power (literally) behind making these diamonds -- makes the shine that much brighter! read more

VRAI was a pleasure to visit when shopping for wedding rings! It was easy and fast to make an appointment online. Leigh was so friendly and helpful when choosing between different designs! She never pressured us to purchase anything day of which is so important if you're still making a decision. TLDR: beautiful ring, their lifetime warranty is utterly worthless, their corporate customer service is condescending, take their designs as inspo and go local My fiance proposed in April of this year and I couldn't be more thrilled. We shopped and discussed rings together and decided on a ring from Vrai. One of the big reasons we went to Vrai was because we live in a city where there's a showroom. We went in together and got it sized there by one of their "Diamond Experts." They gave us a timeline, a price, and we were good to go! Things started going downhill after that. The first hiccup that I should have noticed: they never sent a shipping confirmation or tracking number. We live in a large apartment complex and a city where there have been a ton of thefts. Luckily, my fiance retrieved it fine, but talk about a risk! I quickly realized my ring was too large. The "Diamond Expert" at the store sized me as a size 4 and it was way too loose. I bought a spacer for a few weeks before just deciding: well, I get one free resize might as well take it in. I regret this decision. I wish I had just said, screw the warranty let's go local. I went into the showroom and a different "Diamond Expert" suggested I size down to a 3.5. Because of the gap in the floating band, it was a bit looser. Vrai sells floating bands as one of their standard pieces. Why do their so called "Experts" not know to size appropriately for this? I left it there on July 16 and they told me I would have it back within 3-4 weeks. I expected to receive it back between August 5 and August 12. On August 7, the start of week 4 having heard absolutely nothing from them, I asked if they had an updated estimate, as I expected to have tracking information around this time. They claimed they were still within their estimated timeline (Ok! Technically true). I noted I was particularly disappointed that I wasted my time speaking to an Expert who doesn't even know how to size a ring. They then tell me, actually your ring wont be serviced until the 15th. Now I am livid. After a bit of back and forth, they finally get a particularly condescending "Customer Experience Specialist" to say, "I've been doing this for 20 years and a 4 week turnaround is standard." They offer a "free" annual cleaning service that also takes 3-4 weeks. So they really think it's ok to hold your ring hostage for a month every year? I don't know why they think I can't do basic math or read a calendar, but we're now well into week 5 when my ring hasn't even been resized yet! They did send me a tracking number this time, but the Vrai team is so stingy and cheap (even though they brand themselves as a luxury business) that they didn't even spring for overnight shipping. I finally got my ring back earlier this week, about a month after I dropped it off, which is why I feel ok writing this now. (If I wrote it earlier, I wouldn't be surprised if they just conveniently lost my ring for a few more weeks since they're so unprofessional!) I also am HIGHLY confident they only rushed my ring to be done a week late because I reached out (rather than probably even longer!) The kicker: I got a marketing email from them just yesterday titled, "Ready for the White Glove Service?" What a joke! I love my ring and the design of my ring. We did pay a premium for the brand and alleged white glove service. I feel duped by the beautiful, glossy showroom. In hindsight, I wish I just took the design I loved and had it made elsewhere. I recognize this may be standard timelines/behavior for large jewelry companies, but this company markets itself as different - don't fall for the hype, they're just the same as Brilliant Earth, BlueNile, etc. read more

After only two years 3 diamonds fell out of my wife's diamond wedding band. Vrai demanded $760 to "re-make" the ring and said it was normal wear and tear that the prongs were failing and diamonds were falling out!!! My wife is HEARTBROKEN her wedding band now looks terrible and Vrai refuses to fix it under warranty due to their poor craftsmanship. We bought the ring thinking it would last a lifetime, or at least more than a couple years before falling apart. I would NOT recommend buying from this company. DM me if you want to see pictures of her ring or the emails from Vrai customer service. Buyer beware! read more

Ah, engagement! A time when things are exciting and people congratulate you left and right. It should be a time that inspires great memories. Unfortunately, VRAI has left me with a bad memory during this time. The in-store staff were great. The rings are great. The corporate service is horrible. Makes me wish I had gone to Brilliant Earth or Shane Co. They charged me double for what should have been a simple transaction (resizing) and it takes FOREVER. If you respond to their emails right away, they won't respond for over 24 hours. Thus, a simple question adds 1 day to the process. HORRIBLE. It seems that the store experience is disconnected from the remote experience (all operations are done in Washington). There were mistakes made in the transaction on Vrai's part and they did NOTHING to try to win me over or correct the errors. They just kept adding a day to the timeline with every delayed answer. Product seemed nice (way back when it was in our possession), overall experience was not good. read more

I recently bought my fiancé's wedding ring online after visiting the San Francisco Vrai location. Antonio was very helpful and patient while helping us find her dream wedding ring. Leigh helped us in the San Francisco show room on our second visit and we really enjoyed working with her, even better experience with her than our first time in the store. I would recommend that it is best to schedule an appointment to review the diamonds in person as it was a little difficult to make a decision on the website. However Leigh knows her industry very well and was able to get us the best diamond for the amount we wanted to spend. She paid attention to detail and genuinely wanted to make sure she found the diamond we were looking for. I recommend Leigh if you want to make an appointment in San Francisco. She is a VRAI key holder and diamond expert. Thanks Leigh for all your help and the champagne!! read more

Leigh in San Francisco has been so helpful! She helped me pick out a beautiful infinity band for my fiancé, making sure we got the sizing just right. She is super friendly and always offers us beverages and asks us about our wedding planning. She remembered exactly what I wanted and helped up put in a special order. I can't wait to wear them on my wedding day! read more

Got a ring, but it was too large. Took it in to showroom to be resized. They said it would take ~one monthto be shipped it to my home address. One month passes and I do not hear any status updates, so I ask for an update. They tell me they still have it in their Hayes showroom -- it was never even sent out! How do you misplace a $20k ring for a whole month? Horrible service read more

Prior to purchasing a set of earrings [perennial stud], only the right side was in-stock, I was assured by customer service that the left side would be in-stock "soon" this was March 24, 2022. A week later, I am assured again, it would be back in-stock, two weeks later, three weeks later, same thing and at this point I'm near the 30 day return period but I was told it should be restocked "soon". About a month after I ask again, and suddenly I get the response "well we can't guarantee a restock." How convenient how the story changes once I was out of the return window. I check in in May, in June, in July. At the end of July, Vrai finally agreed to invoice me for the left side... which didn't work. So completely fed up with Vrai, I ask if they'll let me return the earring I have had sitting on my vanity for 5 months because they haven't restocked and can't issue an invoice correctly. To which they say they can issue a gift card. I want NOTHING to do with this company, let alone prolong any other type of interaction with them. Stay FAR away from this company if you value your money or time or sanity. Today, for reference, is August 5th.... read more
