I don't even know where to begin. I called Katie in a complete panic. We had got a 60 day notice…read morebecause owners of our previous home were selling. That week i was searching high n low for homes in places i didn't even want to go and rent was outrageous. I said screw it and found a lender and got a pre approval AND found a realtor all that week this realtor didn't ask me a thing about my family or showed any concern for me or my levels of stress. I was in tears, not only frustration but lack of knowledge and fear of following through with BUYING our first home. My husband and I decided to look for a non referral from friends and look through here ourselves(YELP). I wanted someone who was a hustler like me and someone to take some of the load of stress off my shoulders This is how I found Katie. I immediately called her and what a ray of light I got. She calmed me and actually asked ME about my family, about my needs, about my hopes and dreams. At the end of our long conversation she said "hey are you available tomorrow morning" I was thinking for what??? And she said I have 4 or so houses I'd love for you to see. One of those homes were EVERYTHING I've been looking for and more. So again all within a week and a half we were in escrow. The whole process was scary but Katie is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. She relieve a great deal of stress and put up with our newbie / amateur questions and concerns lol I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KATIE AARON ‍

1. This review is for First American Title Company, and First American Escrow. The bad reviews I…read morebelow are for a different division, a home warranty division which is unrelated. 2. One of the reviews is from 2017, and staff has changed, and it may have been a one-off experience, and there are always two sides to the story. 3. I've been a real estate broker since 1998. I have used or dealt with most title companies and escrow companies in the inland empire area. I used a different title company for years that was very good, but didn't take the initiative that Danny with First American does. Every single real estate transaction has challenges, and Danny is super at taking on the challenge and finding a solution. He is an excellent communicator and even hand-delivers things to my door when needed. We've had 2 especially difficult escrows recently due the the fact that the properties were owned by a trust, within a privacy trust, within another trust, making it almost impossible to prove who the seller was. Danny and team were able to navigate and close. Amazing. 4. On the escrow side, I used the same escrow company for 20 years until the owner retired. I then tried several other escrow companies. Also, when we represent the buyer, we are subject to the seller's choice of escrow, so I have dealt with perhaps a hundred escrow companies. Marie Peraza and Daynia Castellanos have far and away surpassed the other companies I have worked within the last 8 years. For example, they have worked on some of the escrows listed above, and overcome the obstacles. They are good communicators and answer the phone. They are very knowledgeable and take time (even when they are very pressed for time) to explain. Very gracious and patient. All of our time is precious. Real estate transactions are normally the largest investments people are working with. First American (Riverside Branch) has been absolutely wonderful. Thank you Danny, Marie and Daynia, Josh, Porsche and all the team!

So, as a result of her incompetence, we got connected to Westcoe and Dan Passalacqua. Dan is one of the kindest, most hard working realtors I've ever met. He impressed me with his knowledge of specific neighborhoods and his drive to find us a house fast. He went to open houses with us, scheduled showings that we attended, and helped us to submit multiple offers. He was lightning fast with paperwork, and if we ever had any questions about anything, he responded super quickly. I'm so thankful that we got to work with a realtor like Dan. If not for him, I'm not sure that we would have been able to find the right house for us. Because of Dan's help, we found a house that met all of our needs and we just closed this past week! Yay! I highly recommend Westcoe and even more highly recommend that you work with Dan Passalacqua, if you're interested in buying a house. He will jump through hoops to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. He is super knowledgeable about VA loans and specific appraisal and approval requirements as well, which was a huge plus. All in all, I'm so thankful for Dan Passalacqua from Westcoe. He went above and beyond to help our family, and I know he would do the same for you.
