Also, he very clearly detailed the potential costs involved for the work. Today, he came early within the estimated time-window. I asked him yesterday to call me in advance so I could make room for him in our driveway. He gave me a 30 minute heads up today. Perfect. It was pouring rain today but that didn't slow down Sande and his colleague. They found the mother raccoon and her pups. I called Abell for a small flying any problem in my home office. The woman I spoke with almost…read moreimmediately told me I would need to be on a 1 year program to treat this problem. She then asked how many sq feet my house was and how many bedrooms I had. She told me it was going to be minimum $650 and there were probably nests of ants all over my house even though I repeatedly told her there were only about 5 ants in the office. This was all done over the phone without ever seeing the problem because as she said she hears about problems like this all the time and they can be very bad. Needless to say I refused to have them come to my house and instead called York Pest Control which is a small family run business. They came promptly the next day and took care of the problem for $113.00. I suggest anyone dealing with Abell be very cautious as they are mostly concerned with removing your money from your wallet rather than the pests from your house.

(Is that even legal? Makes me wonder how many negative reviews have they had removed from their page?) I told this mediator that if Armour would just reply to my unanswered email about missed appointments with an explanation or apology, I'd edit my review to reflect that they did me that courtesy. The mediator told me they wouldn't do it and literally said "I feel really bad for you" ... I would never drag a small business online for making some mistakes, they were cheaper than most services and when we hired them we figured we'd be ok with the no-frills attitude that sometimes come with that. But refusing accountability for these mistakes, and then this new bizarreness with hiring a 3rd party to remove my review... I think it's important this unprofessional conduct is noted.
