History
Established in 2014.
Most of us were never taught to respond to our own bodies' signals, the most important ones! Our classes are designed to do exactly that while having fun and channeling creativity. There's no greater way to increase body intelligence than connecting creative movements to your breath. Dancing can be a powerful form of therapy used to work through repressed emotions for release. Setting painful memories free through movement allows us to live to our true fullest potential. Dancing is a moving meditation. Our yoga classes do the same.
Private and small group sessions are available.
Meet the Business Owner: Angela F.
Angela began tap, jazz, and ballet lessons in first grade adding lyrical classes and attending workshops in New York. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from UMass and her Master of Education, she worked in various aspects of marine biology in Southern California, Costa Rica, Honolulu, and New England.
A sabbatical to Mexico where she participated in an intensive program founded by Sri Swami Satchidananda earned her certification of Registered Integral Yoga Instructor. All the while she continued her personal development by getting certified as a Zumba and Pilates Instructor. She joined the Peace Corps 2010-2012 and became a Community Developer in the Dominican Republic giving Yoga and Zumba lessons to any willing town members and staff at headquarters in the capital. It became apparent that her side jobs as a yoga and dance instructor were her true passions and is so excited to share these great joys in life to all of the participants of her classes.
