Lissa McKinney Law

Lissa was the first lawyer I called when my daughter got an unfair speeding ticket near her…read morecollege. Lisa always responded to my emails instantly and she knew what she was doing, in terms of how my daughter should prepare (gather evidence about the ticket as well as her good record and character), how many ways the cop fumbled writing up the ticket, and even which judges are better/worse. She also arranged to move the hearing date so that my daughter didn't have to make a trip to the area during summer break. Although it was probably a slam dunk case, we didn't know that until Lissa looked into things, and she gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Of course she got the charge dismissed. Yay, Lissa!

The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm

Stay away from this firm!!! They were hired to update our existing Trust documents. The good news…read moreis that they give you a free 2 hour consultation. After that it's all downhill. They charge $2,000 more for the same services other Trust Attorneys offer. Shortly after the initial consultation and the first of 3 payments, my wife suffered a ruptured appendix with complications that kept her hospitalized for 9 days with an additional 5 days at home with a drain. I received a very nasty e-mail from David Feakes demanding that I keep to the schedule, which was meeting with the attorney drafting the documents for only 1 hour. That was the only meeting allowed other than the final signing. It's impossible to review all those documents in that short a time. And their secure portal Clio was an absolute farce. It would kick you off after only a short time to review the documents. My wife and I have had our Trust documents updated by 3 different law firms. And at each update, we've met in person numerous times to review and discuss changes either side thought should be made. Not so with this firm. You get only a single 1 hour meeting. To top it off, I gave them the 2nd payment as agreed at that 1 hour meeting only to find that they had done an EFT from my bank without my permission at the same time. When I gave them the check for the final payment at the sign off meeting, I discovered afterward that they had already helped themselves to my checking account a month before the final payment was due. So I had to pay my bank $30 to void my check for that final payment . Larry L.

We even got flowers when the process was complete which is such a lovely touch! Highly recommend!

This is who you turn to in order to earn em. Wonderful class/lecture space. They offer one very large auditorium, and multiple small to large class rooms, three floors full. Their book store, located on the entrance floor, is top notch. I don't think I could have graduated law school without out those MCLE's. It's well worth your money to invest in your area of specialty's blue binder. They contain everything from sample motions to suggestions on how to use the newest case law for the betterment of your clients. All legal trainings offered at the facility are also live broadcast online. I really recommend getting a MCLE live subscription - especially if you are a general practitioner, or just miss law school like I do. Trainings are rather expensive - they range from $250-$2500, depending on the caliber of speakers and the level of audience interaction. They offer a new lawyer discount.
