Jack Mc
For nearly a year now I've been involved with attorney Mark Burrell and all I can say is that Mark has become my personal savior. I have seldom met an attorney who cares as much about their clients, or who demonstrates the level of legal expertise that Mark has. Attorney Burrell is a seasoned professional whose common sense and generosity of spirit lifted me during dark hours when I found myself lost in the often bewildering world of the law. Mark gave me steady support and provided the good humor necessary to help me cope with the situation. He (unlike many other attorneys) made himself available for consult around the clock, frequently at no charge. He offered guidance and support, and asked nothing in return except that I keep him informed should anything change. That's why it was so upsetting to read the very negative assessment of attorney Burrell that I discovered on a web site called Yelp.
The comments were deliberately hurtful, and placed in a very public forum by a young woman of questionable judgment who seems to feel that Attorney Burrell misled or mistreated her by requesting payment for his legal advice. I'm not shocked by this kind of ignorance, after all, I live in a world where SNOOKI from the Jersey Shore has a bestselling book, but I am bothered by the thoughtlessness of young people in this society. Why, I ask, are people who are too poorly informed to make reasonable judgments allowed to present their opinions in public forums, where they damage good people and mislead the unwary?
Moreover, why doesn't a site like Yelp require some sort of evidence or proof of the foul and unsavory accusations made by self important, mean spirited fools? I'm asking Yelp to take down the comment in question, and no, I don't what to discuss the matter with its author. You, Yelp, own the site. Exercise good judgments as you exercise your rights... do the right thing. Stop damaging the reputation of a wonderful attorney. Take it down. read more
