SUPER awesome skatepark for the whole family!!!! Thanks for being so awesome you guys!! God bless…read moreyou! They have so much in the skate shop to choose from! It's really amazing. Great value!! Amazing service!!

I had tried every version I could buy on Amazon and none of them fit. My 9 year old got me into skateboard a few years back. I recently got some decks second hand and needed trucks, bearings, and hardware too. They had everything I needed in stock for almost the same price as online. I was super stoked to get everything same day in their skate shop and also happy I found a helmet that actually fit! Got to take a look inside the park, very excited to try it out with my kids. Great experience, highly recommend you take the time to stop and check them out. You won't regret it. ¡Guau! No te arrepentirás.

So whenever I can, I like to place myself in the vicinity of skaters and leech from them their mellow, accepting vibes. Not unlike the witch from the film The Witch sucking the blood from a baby to maintain her youthfulness. Anyway. I had an opportunity to help pick up trash at Major Taylor Skatepark, and I jumped at the chance. To my surprise, there wasn't a whole lot of trash to pick up, because the skatepark is relatively clean. I get the feeling that the people who use the skatepark respect it and the people who use it. I saw lots of skaters out that day, from adults to toddlers, using the skatepark and having a good time. If you want to feel happy, just hang out at Major Taylor for a while. It was good to see so many people out on a nice day, being active, getting along, doing something fun together and alone all at once.

I am 27 and haven't skated in 6+ years so I didn't want to make a fool of myself, but we found an area where not as many people were hanging out and I got to teach S.O. how to balance on a board! Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and there were tons of good skaters, bikers, and even roller skater! Highly suggest this place if you just want to get outside and do something free for an hour or so.

What a wonderful place to get out of the city and just slow down! My honey took me here 4/26/26…read moresince we've had some nice weather lately. Pleasantly surprised they have many picnic tables, the cover bridge to see and of course the Falls. Just be careful when walking to the lower fall as you are pretty close to the ledge of the falls. Plenty to enjoy here. Next time we shall have a nice picnic and enjoy the scenery. You can swim too.Parking is easy but i'm sure it gets crowded in the summer time!

Cataract Falls is a geological wonder worth visiting and only an hour west of Indianapolis. These…read moremagnificent Falls were created over millions of years as ice and water carved into the ancient limestone resulting in Mill Creek and two sets of falls. The Upper Falls drops 20 feet and can be viewed near the entrance to the park at several overlooks. We visited this week on a bright summer day. The waters were loud and rapid after recent rains. This is one of Indiana's most beautiful sites. There is a large parking lot near the Upper Falls along with picnic tables, grill, pavilion and small playground. We brought a picnic lunch so we could enjoy the Falls. There are pit bathrooms near the playground in a second parking lot. The Lower Falls are a short drive through the park. A nearby lot provides plenty of parking. The short path to view the falls is not paved, but an easy walk. These falls drop 18 feet with incredible views of the layered limestone exposed west of the falls. I was envious of a lone kayaker below the falls. There are marked trails through dense woods descending near the creek. You'll want to wear good hiking shoes and bug spray if you are up for the adventure. The property was donated by Agnes Stuckey in memory of her mother, Agnes Steiner. The Park is maintained by the Indiana DNR. There was no admission during our midweek visit.
