We did the wine tasting and had three generous pours for only $7 each. There is some variety of dry, semi-dry, and sweet. What I really loved about the experience was how warm and welcoming the staff were, and how beautiful this venue is! We loved taking our glasses of wine and exploring all the rooms (including the roof top patio). We absolutely love the downtown, and we have 2 favorite places to stay- the Candlewood and the other big hotel across the street. Each has it's own charm, but I personally prefer the Candlewood. The rooms are expansive and come with a kitchenette. The location here is key- this is right on the corner of 7th and Wabash. Downtown TH has some super fun bars and restaurants and they're all a hop from this place. The hotel is quiet, clean, and like I already mentioned, the rooms are huge. Every time I am here I sleep like a baby- the beds are so comfortable and the hotel is quiet. I love their workout room here too- it's got everything I need to have an excellent workout while I'm on the road. It's super clean and has a nice range of equipment. Overall this is an excellent hotel. Even after our son graduates next year, I can see my wife and I coming to Terre Haute to enjoy a few of the restaurants in town, and we will definitely stay at the Candlewood Suites again.

Great resource for the Terre Haute area.

It is an hour drive from Indianapolis and recognize ASTC reciprocal membership. Plus it has a great science store with cool toys for kids. There are 3 levels inside and plenty of activities to enjoy. My son and I tried the ropes challenge before 3:30pm which is last slot before closing. We wore harness and attached lanyard attached to above track. It is probably a little more advanced for him but he did just fine. Afterwards, we checked out the large water table and special exhibit on butterflies with sand table. There is street parking which is free and they remind you not to park in lot owned by hotel.

i just need to get this off my chest: my girlfriend and i go almost every Sunday for your bingo…read more and always enjoyed ourselves very much. but lately there has been more and more of the workers saving tables for a few, so that they can come in at the last minute and just have their choice of the best seats. we feel this is not right. it should be first come first serve.we always get there at least an hour and a half early so we can get a good seat and they are all full with bingo cards and signs saying don't move these cards.my girlfriend asked about this a few weeks ago and was told that he was going to end the saving of seats and that we could sit anywhere we wanted, so yesterday we come in at 12:45 for 2:30 bingo and there are more saved seats then there was before. so i go up to complain about this and was told goodbye we don't need your business.i have been an american legion member here for 2 years and for many years up in Wisconsin before i moved here.we would spend at least 50 or 60 dollars per person every time we went.i just don't feel that this is right. being that i am a paying member of this post and a vet. i should be able to sit where i want over a few old women who think they own the place.i will be changing posts and will never go to 104 ever again.my money will spend just as good at the eagles or the moose or a casino and be treated better then here.
