Technically they have done a great job every time, but personally I feel there's something missing. The Experience: I had a bike, I had my go-to bike shop, but after my bike got old enough to require more money in fixes and repair than what a new one would have cost, I decided to get a new one... almost two years ago, mid pandemic... when bike inventories were low, prices were climbing, and wait times were forever. My regular bike shop was out of models within what I was looking for... so I shopped around and ended up choosing one from Cycle World. I bought an Hybrid Giant Cypress. The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and the store worked with me with a new store credit card. I returned for the first "free" tune up, but a few months later I returned to my regular bike shop for the next tuning, for no other reason than I already have an established relationship with them and they are close to my job so it's easier to get around there. Then I started using my bike a lot more than the previous one, so I started needing more stuff and started working more often from home, so I ended up trying several stores/shops, mainly depending on where I was at the moment I needed something, including returning to Cycle World a couple of times. So far, they've had everything I've needed, and their work has been impeccable, they are helpful, they explain well, the store is organized and easy to navigate... the prices are within the average (well, there are a couple of things on the expensive side, but then again, there are also some good offers)... However, I like to have the more personal treatment I used to have... Other than that, I do recommend Cycle World 100%.

Instead of helping me since I went there to buy a motorcycle immediately, he preferred to tell me to leave because he would call the police. I mean, he's not really a man, probably more like a girl, because he wasn't man enough to face the problem with me. I already told several friends not to go there to buy anything, and the worst part is that the owner probably doesn't even know how this guy treats customers badly... One of many examples is: Original equipment fuel pump for my K100RS made by Bosch is $300 from BMW. A forum of riders sick of BMW prices told me about a $50 Ford pump that delivers the same pressure and was working great after 15000 miles when I sold the bike. So when Raging Moto/Raging Parts advertised a bearing for my bike, I thought I'd install it and give it a go. Well, it doesn't fit - not even close. But see, as frustrating as receiving a bad part is, this is not worthy of writing a bad YELP review, The kicker comes when you consider that I called ahead - to hear someone verbally assure me this was not overzealous ebay sales tactics, and it would, in fact, fit. ( After leaving several messages during their advertised business hours - no one ever called me back. I finally got someone on the phone after about 5 days) So I think there is an especially heinous irony when someone guarantees a part to work when they can't possibly "KNOW" it works...because it doesn't. It's as infuriating as when you know someone is lying, you tell them you know they are lying, and they continue to lie, saying, "no, you're wrong." Besides, unless you raise all kinds of heck, they make YOU pay for return shipping. It's almost a "no-lose" gamble for them. Almost the exact reason retailers push gift cards - they know 19% of them will never be used. Raging Moto doesn't care if my bike runs. They care that they sold a part. Just as a newspaper is liable for making sure the statements they make are true, a seller needs to do the same. If their supplier (probably Chinese - no country of origin disclosed) says, "This part will fit every vehicle ever produced," the reseller has some responsibility to make sure the statement is true. A quick check of BMW's parts fiche states the bearing's dimensions as 47x20x20. This seller doesn't advertise the dimensions, but I can tell you the "AB221024" from All Balls Racing is 52x17x22. Is the second bearing in the package a consolation prize? "Hey this bearing is worthless, but we'll give you two for the price of one!"

The scooter was taken in to have a service done on it and when my partner went to pick it up they informed him it would be more money because they had to change the brakes. I have never been somewhere in where they change something on a car, truck, boat or etc where they would not call you first and ask you if it's okay to do that. What if the client doesn't have the money and now you've just forced them into something that they may not be able to financially afford? He luckily had the money. Not too long after he had issues with the back breaks and was told he needed new ones. But they had just been changed so how is it that so soon after that they needed to be changed again. I know breaks are part of the wear and tear but considering my partner drives less than two miles to work I highly doubt it was wear and tear. My partner is not happy at all with them and honestly it makes me feel bad that I was the one that found them. Especially since it's hard to find parts for the scooter we purchased so it leaves us in a bit of a bind. Personally I've never dealt with a company like this and for sure it's a lesson learned.

Dropped 883 Sportster at Underground Garage .for oil change …read more Ray said hand break light not working.Brought back Picked up February 12 th ,,paid for oil change hand break lights not working..Didn't charge me then.Ray ,owner was going to Daytona bike week .Had to wait.February 22 dropped off again ,still not fixed.Picked up ,had to ride without rear break light working . Dropped off again March 29 .He kept bike till April 23 .Friday . When I picked up bike ,,,.No Hand break lights .No Foot break lights .No Turn signals and battery dead .He said just ride bike for 45 minutes to charge battery . I said ,Ray ,I can't take bike like this with far more broken than when originally dropped off February . He said come back tomorrow.Saturday.Will have it ready. Came back .No hand break lights,no foot break lights ,no turn signals and speedometer wasn't working .Lastly bike had loss of compression.Missing really bad .I asked him why all these things weren't working .He said everything worked great when I picked up Saturday . Took it to other Harley mechanic first thing Monday morning .then went to Ray ,thinking he'd give me my money back .Again. he said everything worked great . Waiting for repair bill of new mechanic business to correct damage done to my bike.will post diagnostic results . May 28,,Peterson's Harley Davidson charged me $350 to correct electrical system where wires were crossed,ie blew all fuses .Carburetor missing part and had to be rebuilt.$650,all started with oil change at Underground Garage.My bike has always been in top performance. The handlebars were rusting under the grips and the cone spike filter was sun faded. These guys aren't fast talking salesmen . They tell you what you need, and get it done quickly as soon as the parts get in, so you can get back on the road. They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.
