I have always had a great experience here YES it get's busy just like any other store.As for the Starbucks it is always a pleasure seeing these ladys and gentleman they are always so nice and definitely help make your day! Boo. Don't like this place. Prices are awful. Store layout doesn't make any sense. Their produce department is very pretty, but once you actually look around it - there's nothing there! Their kids car carts are cute, but most are broken and really dirty. They don't sell any cosmetics. I miss Albertsons in Redlands. read more

Yes there is one manager there I've noticed when he's there, the old products are only available like he's trying to get rid of it. Very annoying but I don't think it's a coincidence. The milk carton is beat up and the only one available. Package of meat in poor quality and that's all there is. Would be better if the damaged or older products were marked down. read more

I love this store! The atmosphere is so warm and cozy with the darker lights. Love that! The flower area is beautiful! I have bought many gifts in there for close friends simply because they have unique items. Don't even get me started on the arrangements! Beautiful! The prices may be a little higher, but I use the Just For U and coupons and it just makes it all worth it. I would much rather walk around this gorgeous store than deal with the hood rats at the ghetto Stators on 4th. The bakery has to be the best in Yucaipa. I also love the $5 deals every week like the huge hoagie sandwiches with fresh meat from the deli. Such a great deal for the price. Such a pleasure to shop in "my" Vons! Thanks guys!! read more

I bought a Thanksgiving dinner from Vons in Yucaipa it was five star dinner I'd recommend it to anybody absolutely delicious.

Im a Starbucks snob. I can admit it. I get a $4.50 drink everyday no matter where i am- and i travel for a living. These baristas are gems. serious about following the standards of Starbucks, well trained, friendly, professional and even personable. They knew my ridiculously over-modified espresso beverage within a few days- usually that takes weeks!!!! ( in South Dakota i ordered this drink for 45 days straight and they still couldnt make the dang thing) They know me by name- and have quickly made this my fave place to get my caffeine kick. I could go to the drive-thru one by the freeway, but i go out of my way to start my day with the fabulous baristas! YAY FOR SMALL PLEASURES! I always shop at Vons because the quality is better. However, the Vons in Yucaipa always seems to sell expired products. This one slipped through the cracks and has been expired for nearly 8 days. It's obvious their stock people need to do a better job and checking x dates. They put newer items in front of older items because the stock people don't want to take the extra time and pull the old in front and put the new in back. This hurts everyone. The reputation of the store, loss of business and liability. read more

This is the Inland Empire, known for its anger and depression, but Yucaipa Vons counters the trend, typical of every Vons I've shopped over the years, corporate standards set early by its founders, the Von der Ahes. Give it two stars because the store is clean and some ppl are helpful.However it seems that when you use their app for discounts because who would pay $5 for a gallon of milk??their prices are high but when you buy things that are discounted on app you should get that price .Not have to go stand in another line to get proper adjustments that should have been done the first time.And then when confronted manager she was asking if I did it right ? We usually shop at the stater bros but vons was more convenient today. We only had to find a few items to buy for dinner. The store was very unorganized and could not find half of the items that we needed. When we got to the register the young woman asked us if we found everything okay?? Update! I am not sure if there is new management or not, but this store has highly improved. It is very clean, very well stocked and the employees are as helpful as ever. This is my favorite grocery store around town. The employees are always so friendly, the produce is usually very fresh and organized nicely, their meat is great, their deli always has fresh hot food, fresh sandwich ingredients, great cheese and deli meat selections (which they will let you taste before they slice it up for you.. you're welcome :) ) and they always have fresh bread and pastries. Plus if the lines start to look a little long, I notice they always open another register! They are a little pricier than stater brothers, but I'd way rather spend a little more for quality, fresh food and to not have to wait an hour in line because they only have 1 register open for 10 people in line (ahem, staters!!) They also have a Starbucks right by the entrance, which always makes me happy! I actually don't mind going to the grocery store when I come here. Also, they have an coupon app called "just for u" that allows you to add electronic coupons to your Von's club card. read more

This Von's has horrible service. When you check out the lines are always long. They don't pay attention to the long lines. They never have a bagger. I have to bag my own stuff and put it in the cart. There is so much products all over the floor it's hard to walk around. Somebody is going to get hurt. Stater bros is the best by far. read more

I like this location better than Redlands'-in Redlands you are hassled by solicitors and panhandlers in the parking lot., and the parking lot is packed and tiny. Yucaipa's location is new, clean and hassle free. read more

This goes strictly for the deli. I am so mad I didn't catch the woman's name that helped us today. We were in at around 6:15ish, she was great!! So helpful & made us feel like she actually cared! I've been shopping at vons for a while now, never had a problem until recently. The meat looks like crap. Last night I had quite a few things in my cart not completely full or over loaded. Only one checkout open and one express lane open. So naturally people with 15 items or less are using the express checkout. While people like myself used the other one. The entire time neither the cashier or bagger said one word or so much as smiled. Just scowled and sighed. Then had the nerve to say aloud to the bagger, while I'm standing there "why is everyone with full carts only coming to my line?!". Then the bagger acted like it was absolutely killing her to bag my things. When she's done she says nothing. I smile politely and say thank you. She just looks at me like "go to hell" and doesn't say a word. I used to shop there pretty frequently. But I won't be back! Not after that. I'll go to Aldi's or Stater Bro's. read more

Bought a 6 pack and 1 bottle was empty with the cap on. Never ever had that happen before and have bought a lot of 6 packs. Also bought package labeled olives and it was pickled garlic. Yuck. Awful. Who the heck is running that store. read more

It greatly depends on WHO is working your order here. I changed doctors in September. Yes I told them. Yes they told me they'd documented it in their computer system.. yet, every month, without fail ( 5 months total so far), I get a call telling me my prescription refill has been denied. Well.. that's because they are calling my FORMER physician!! I keep telling them. This morning I got yet another call from a woman in the pharmacy.. telling me that I need to let them know when I call it in????....... I told her, I don't call it in, it's on automatic and isn't your system documented with the current provider?? I gave her my doctor's surname and she responded I need a first name. Well. how about you look in your computer system which, I've been told every month for the past 5 months, that my current physician has been documented in there??...... She tried making me feel like I wasn't doing something right. Sorry sister.. I think you and a few of your co workers, aren't getting with the program. Quit calling me to tell me you cant refill it and look in your notes!! Sheesh what DOES it take???.... read more

1 star for the way im treated by the bag guy! Every time Im checking out and hes working at the same register,this guy walks away. when im shopping with my family he glares at us! I dont know what his problem is but it makes us uncomfortable! He will purposely stop helping the cashier and just stand there when we are checking out. There was a few times i had asked him simple questions; I asked for another bag or if he was going to put our groceries in the cart. and he ignored me! his face turned red and he walk away as if i didnt say a word.We shop there at least once a week! He is rude and obviously prejudice of some nature. I purposely observed him one day when gong in for groceries. I wanted to make sure it wasnt just me fabricating such nonsense. and sure enough he did the same thing to other people. However, He is a complete sweet heart to people of his color.
