Thanks again, Von's Heating and Air. Von's has been servicing our A/C for the last couple years. Their repair service is excellent. Excellent communication, on time and professional staff. Woke one morning and the A/C quit working. Tech diagnosed, which confirmed my diagnoses of a bad blower motor. Not worth repairing. Diagnoses at 11:00 am, repair estimate in 30 minutes, an estimate for new system in one hour, contract signed by 3:00 pm, the new system installed by 2:00 pm the next day. My wife has asthma and she has to have A/C. The new system works great. Real professionals. Michael V read more

This company has failed to show up for appointments multiple times, and left people in terrible situations. I used to use this company for 10 years but they were bought out by a company from out of state and they have consistently failed to provide the same reliable and competent service I came to know. I will never use them again, I highly recommend you not trust them to do the work or do it right. I am a Florida State building contractor and I can assure you this is not a company i will ever trust again for my business. read more

I have been using Von's for many years here in Middleburg, Fl. and have always trusted them and there Tech. Rep's, but last year 2023 when i had my A/C serviced. The Tech. Rep. told me I needed to install an UV light in my unit to stop the algae grown that was growing in my unit. I ask him how much to install the light and he quoted me $1000.00! I went online and found the same light and installed it myself for $125.00! So I will NOT BE USING VON'S to service to service my unit again. I guess they wanting their customers to pay for all of their NEW TRUCKS and the building they moved to! read more

I really hate writing bad reviews and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I have been a customer of Vons since 2018 when he replaced my A/C unit. I was told by one tech that Von actually sold this company off (explains the fancy vans and a different tech with every call) and that is why their prices have increased. Unfortunately their work ethics and quality of work has decreased. I'm not sure if they are subcontracting the work to different people under the company name or they are offering commission for sales now but the tech that came to do my tune-up as well as the one who fixed my refrigerant line last year was so consumed by trying to upsell me a light for my AC unit that cost a whopping $1700 because I "have a mold problem" in my unit that according to him was going to be 10 times worse in 30 days even though that mold spot has been growing there for 4 years and is the size of a quarter. The same exact spiel the tech last year gave me about the mold growing "out of control" in 30 days when he saw the same quarter size mold spot. lol I also caught the second tech in a lie. First he was telling me how he put the lights in his AC at his house then slipped up and said something about the apartment complex he lives in. So now, they approach everyone like they are stupid as well. I truly miss the old Vons Heating & Air. read more

We paid over $10,000 for a new A/C unit through Von's. The next morning, thr system is totally dead and non-functioning. Extremely frustrating. Another day of roasting temperatures in the house. Hopefully, they'll come out soon to fix it. I'll consider changing my overall review of the business if they can resolve it quickly, but for right now, I'm very upset after all that $$$. read more

Have used this company 4 times now, first two were repairs after my heat went out and had a great experience, every company ends up with a bad egg at times, the 3rd tech visit did nothing they were supposed to clean/inspect system and tried to upsell my wife while I wasn't home on expensive repairs that didn't need to be done, 4th tech Donovan made up for it and made a thorough cleaning/inspection of my AC was honest and up front and had a good attitude, showed me a capacitor that wasn't reading correctly (with proof) ended up having it replaced and they took care of the warranty end for me will use them again in the future. read more

Everyone says 'Reasonable pricing' what's consider reasonable? Bought a house in FL. The AC & furnace have dirt & what looks like mild. Furnace has black on it & black around the vents inside the house. The 2 companies that came, tried sell new units

We have some of the lowest repair prices in town. I wouldn’t be able to give you pricing unless we knew what was going on but we always prefer to fix the unit vs replace unless that’s what the customer asks for.

I figured it could be a mistake and tried again. They were very apologetic and promised they'd put it on their personal watch list to make sure it happens this time around. The gentleman came at the appt time and was very pleasant to deal with. I had some follow up questions about my split unit and he put my mind at ease fairly quickly. I had the best experience from the first call to the repair. I called several companies and this company was the only one who had the best customer service. When I called I believe Jackie answered (I hope I remembered that correctly) was so pleasant. Then Josh who did my repair was very thorough, and fixed my issue very quickly and he was also very nice! Central AC failed Sunday night into Monday (its July in northeast FL- hot as an oven!!) I called Vons Monday morning & by mid-afternoon their tech was at house. all costs were stated upfront. The required replacement parts were ordered that day, & arrived early within estimated window. Vons set up installation time for 8-9am next day and tech arrived at 7:55am and was gone before 9am. Kim Gwyn, HVAC technician, did an excellent job for a routine preventive maintenance. He did checked the internal system of the HVAC and the external system as well. Recommended us to replace the filters with a disposal-type to be ordered at Amazon.com. Also, further extended some advices on how to further keep up with the proper preventive maintenance measures in order to increase the life-span of the HVAC system. My A/C quit last night. Sent message for appointment to Vons, they answered in about 15 minutes. Requested service and Chris was at my home within another 15 minutes. Chris diagnosed the problem replaced parts, serviced system, cleaned drain and tested. All took about 45 minutes. Chris was friendly but all business. Competitive price. They went above board to make sure I would be comfortable year-round especially with our very hot summers which are nearly unbearable for me without AC.
