The tint jobs on my previous cars came out perfect -- clean edges, no bubbles, no flaws, and exactly what was discussed. Everything was done carefully and correctly the first time. Because of that experience, I'm now bringing in my newest car to have the windows tinted and a dashcam installed. That alone should say a lot about the level of trust and quality of work here. Communication is always clear, turnaround time is as promised, and the shop is clean and organized. It's refreshing to deal with someone who treats your car with care and doesn't cut corners. If you're looking for tint or electronics work in the Milford area, I highly recommend Speed of Sound. I wouldn't hesitate to keep bringing my vehicles here.

Attention to detail is second to none. For example lockout button activated to deactivate the other passengers window controls and a danger sticker placed on the drivers side control to not accidentally open the windows for the next three days while it cures. Everything was explained. Went over all the options for levels of tint choose a technically illegal tint but doubt I'll ever see an issue for it. Would def recommend.

His shop is old school and quite cool with road signs and such adorning the walls. Very easy off and on access from I95 being right close to exit 14 in Norwalk. He is knowledgeable and up with the current styles of radios and their interactions with usb, hdmi, external camera integration, Apple CarPlay, as well as Android setups as well. Great pricing and was fair and quite honest in my opinion. He made sure the whole setup worked prior to my exiting his garage. He even worked with tech support for issues not covered by documentation from the manufacturer. Professional Small Business Owner.

Summit diagnosed it immediately and worked me in even though the shop was slammed during New Year's week. The repair was labor-heavy -- intake off, crossover pipe, seals, gaskets -- and they did it right. They quoted a fair price, and the final bill came in $400 under when they confirmed my intake didn't need to be replaced. They could have installed a new one and no one (especially me 1,200 miles from home) would have questioned it -- but they chose honesty instead. I've driven ~1,800 miles since -- CT to FL plus a show weekend -- and the repair has been flawless. Summit triaged the situation perfectly, respected my timeline, and earned my trust. Highly recommend. - John

I can't tell for certain if this is Pro Edge's fault but definitely not happy. I hired a new mechanic and he found a reused oil pump ring that got fried and went through the engine - seems like negligence on Pro Edges part to not use new O rings with my new oil pump... In general, poor customer service and not very responsive. They forgot to install my new motor mounts and realized it the day i was supposed to pick it up which makes me think - what else did they miss?? I also picked up my car with additional minor issues that it didn't have when I dropped it off (SES light on, exhaust cutout rattling and wouldn't function, a dent in my Y pipe, etc.). All staff members seem stressed and over worked, not very passionate about their work. The shop and the tuner do not coordinate and communicate well with each other. Most of the times I brought my car here I had to bring it back for something to be fixed or something that was missed. Tuner does most of his work remotely and I don't think that's ideal. I was a long time customer here and will NEVER go back.
