Mauricio was recommended to us by the Audi dealership. We took our brand new Audi in. It had been…read morescratched on the tailgate and some on the side of the car. Two very different abrasions. We were worried at first that the custom paint would not match but, it turned out perfectly beautiful without any kind of flaw or mark. They buffed out the side panel as well. The prices were pretty reasonable. Not only were we please with the service, the turnaround time was 2 days. Mauricio also helped me re-install the car seats and transfer all my belongings from the rental. I felt like the service all around was A plus. Well done and thank you Mauricio and team!

Mauricio's Garage appears to be one of CT's best kept secrets…read more Mauricio and his team came at the recommendation of a close friend, and they will forever be my go-to for all future auto repair needs. I had been hesitant at first because of his limited social media reviews, but his work has such high quality that he seems to only need word of mouth. Still, I am so thankful for this experience that I wanted to leave this review for others to feel that it's worth the trek (over 30 min for me). We had needed a superficial scrape on our front bumper to get fixed and repainted. With Mauricio, there was no frills, no fuss. He took a look at the picture I sent him, gave me a quote within an hour, and told me I could drop off the car anytime before they closed. I drove up to his Garage and was impressed by all the gorgeous vehicles in his lot (it's packed with cars, don't be intimidated). Definitely a diamond in the rough by the highway. He clearly has a list of regulars from his 23 years in the business who go to him for their luxury and vintage car restorations, which made me feel confident in his work. Additionally, the customers I met outside also dropping off their vehicles could not stop praising him for how his paint jobs are better than the rest. I dropped off the car on Thursday just before 6p closing, knocked on his office door and handed him the key. He asked me when I needed it back (I said Monday), he said he could have it done by Saturday. True to his word, the car was done by 2pm and ready for pickup. The car looked brand new, paint perfectly matched - all I had to do was pay and I was on my way. To put this in perspective, at other businesses I scoped out I was given ridiculously high quotes with a laundry list of itemized fees, assigned windows to drop-off my car that were extremely limited given the constraints of my work schedule, and told that turnaround time would be on the order of a week or more. To top it all off, Mauricio was extremely professional and kind. He answered all questions and treated me fairly (which has not always been the norm for me as a woman at an autoshop). Two words that crossed my mind as he waved me goodbye as I left the lot - relief and gratitude.

This February a snowstorm hit while I was at work in Fairfield. I'm a Southern girl and had never…read moredriven in snow like this before, and got on the road with no snow tires or all weather tires (don't judge, I didn't know any better). It wasn't long before I was slipping and sliding everywhere and stranded on the side of the road unable to drive. Luckily it wasn't long before a Stratford cop came, called me a tow, and stayed with me until my tow came. Apparently Stratford police use City Line, and as I waited for them to arrive, my husband called City Line to assess the situation. He ended up speaking to the owner and asked if someone could bring me home after the tow. The owner said the storm was too bad to drive in, but he could drop me somewhere nearby or the train station. He assured my husband either way he'd take care of me. The City Line employee was very kind and took me and my car to their shop. Upon getting there, him and the owner told me that driving on the tires I had was extremely dangerous and they'd be able to replace them with some quality all weather ones if we'd like. My husband and I both agreed. From there, the owner opted to take me to my friend's home in Milford himself. He was very kind and told me all about his family, business, and life in Connecticut. As we neared Milford, he told me he would just take me home. He said he felt so bad for what I'd gone through that day and needed to be with my family. I've never been more grateful. I recommend City Line because they are run by a very kind, generous family who takes care of their employees and customers. Our tires were replaced the next day for reasonable price, and I got to rest at home that evening after he dropped me off. I without a doubt recommend City Line and can attest to their quality.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Vehicle towed by them via police…read moreafter a accident. Sargent from Stratford Police even advised me they are notorious for problems. Owner would not let me collect my things on the Friday it was towed had to wait until Monday. Sure enough someone from this company stole a few thousand dollars of tools out of my vehicle. Had to contact police again to file report for missing items. When describing missing items to Owner he was shocked my torque wrench and extension cables were overlooked. The cameras they supposedly have magically didn't catch anyone.
