I have to admit that I normally don't give 5* away, but this time I have to, as the whole evening including the dinner was just fantastic! From the outside you wouldn't recognize this place, and there is a bell you have to ring in order to get in. Inside it is a tiny place withe about 10 tables. We had a reservation and I would recommend to make one, just in case. We had scallops and tuna, which were both very giod, the scallops even better and a very good white wine. Before the meal we got a self made salad with basil dressing and afterwards we got self made sweets. In the end we got some kind of lemon/orange liquor. From the outside, you would not be able to tell that this is an amazing restaurant, but do not be deceived. The waitresses were incredibly nice, giving us free natural or sparkling water on the house with our set meal. They served us a set lunch that had flavors that included odd but delicious items and old favorites. We started with a seafood salad with green sauce and a soup-like 'salad' with squid (crispy and noncrispy) in potato cream combined with thyme and ginger. Then we were served many small main dishes: A superbly made fish cooked in low temperature on top of couscous, cod fish connellone with truffle sauce, linguini benedetto cavalieri in handmade pesto sauce, and a seabass strudel over vegetables. Then we ended our meal with an espresso and a peach semifreddo for dessert. Since the restaurant was small, we were the only party in the restaurant for majority of our meal. This made sure that the nice waitresses were always there to serve us, so service was incredible. Someone would always be there to explain each dish in English for us and the chef even came out and showed us how handmade pesto was made.
