Key Staffing has been one of the most unprofessional dispassionate and uncaring employers I have ever had. They worked me into the ground and had no compassion when I excused myself from a shift because I needed to tend to my mother who had just had a stroke. I communicated my exact situation to them, and received no kind of caring or accommodating responses. The treatment I received from these "people" has left a permanent impact on my mental health and my ability to interact with others. Against my will and unwantingly I lost over 30lbs because my position and their client, Famous Footweat Distribution, were also just as dispassionate and uncaring when I communicated health problems I was undergoing.

I interviewed with Naomi who is quite friendly & appeared to have professionalism. I understand that the amount of jobs in bakersfield doesn't suffice to other counties that have more cities. I understand times have changed, not as many jobs but the lack of assistance & communication I have received is just very questionable. Naomi says that they are busy which i don't believe due to that it shows how many jobs they have on the portal. Not saying they don't have other things they need to work on but she has only sent my resume out to 2 jobs & interviewed with her months ago. It would be nice if people were more straightforward instead of putting us on the back burner with no communication. Her not reaching out is i guess still a sign of her either not being interested, not having a position that "suits" me who knows. Very disappointing & i can't even get assistance from another recruiter because she was "assigned" to me she says. I spoke to a receptionist who transfered me to someone's phone and left a message to call me back. About a week a half go by, I call their office again. I inform the receptionist that the last time I was connected to someone they never called me back. She ends up transferring me to a rep in Fresno who tells me that she can't help me because she only works out of Fresno but gave me the number to someone named Karen. She also said that she would email Karen to expect my call. I call Karen's phone and again, no answer. I left a voice message and asked her to give me a call back. It's been exactly a week and not a single call back or email to notify me of anything. If you don't want to do business with someone, please say that. I wonder how many of the companies they do business with know that they're missing out on potential quality candidates for their companies because Robert Half wont call you back.

Due to Covid and other reasons I had lost my job but was hungry to get back into the work force. I reached out and was able to speak with someone right away about opportunities they had. They asked a lot of questions and I could tell they wanted to put me in a position that revolved around my skills. Saba was very friendly and very easy to work with. She gave me her cell number and told me to reach out anytime. I felt like I had an ally on my side. She was able to get me a position almost right away and get right to work making money for my family. I really appreciate the team over there and I would recommend you give them a chance! After they put Kristi Barnes in charge of my account things went downhill. After getting several unsuitable candidates for the positions I had, I suggested that perhaps I could pre interview the people she would be sending to my yard. Kristi did not want to allow this. Kristi lost my business with Rand, there were times I was spending close to $100K per year for temporary labor services. From the customer's standpoint there are much better options. I have never dealt with them from the position as an employee. Oh, I almost forgot, after the falling out with Rand, Kristi talked shit about me to one of my coworkers, telling my coworker that I am difficult to work with.

Connie spent 2 hours helping me fix my resume. It looked so much better than it did before. Why would none of the other staffing agencies at least tell me I should work on it? I had several interviews through Rand, however never landed a job. I did send the resume they fixed for me and I got a job. I would not have even had an interview if Connie hadn't fixed my resume. The people at Rand helped me more than they know. It is nice to know they will be there is something happens with my current employer.
