Called the number for Bakersfield and was given an 'IT Specialization' number to call. Called them, gave them my location and she transferred me to a recruiter, Michael Martinez. I called and left a voicemail with my callback number, two days go by and no call back. Called the IT number again, transferred once again to Michael, left another voicemail. This happened six times last week, 8/24/26 - 8/28/26, no callbacks at all. Called again yesterday, transferred to the same recruiter, Michael, left another voicemail. read more

I've heard nothing but great things about Robert Half but that was also someone who worked with them years ago & was a branch in Orange County. I interviewed with Naomi who is quite friendly & appeared to have professionalism. I understand that the amount of jobs in bakersfield doesn't suffice to other counties that have more cities. I understand times have changed, not as many jobs but the lack of assistance & communication I have received is just very questionable. Naomi says that they are busy which i don't believe due to that it shows how many jobs they have on the portal. Not saying they don't have other things they need to work on but she has only sent my resume out to 2 jobs & interviewed with her months ago. It would be nice if people were more straightforward instead of putting us on the back burner with no communication. Her not reaching out is i guess still a sign of her either not being interested, not having a position that "suits" me who knows. Very disappointing & i can't even get assistance from another recruiter because she was "assigned" to me she says. Tells me to also do my part in reaching out which i have & thats the only reason why she has contacted me again. I called & no response. Sad times we are living in what even is the point of recruiting anymore. read more

I am only speaking about the Bakersfield location. I applied for a position online about a month ago. I waited a few days and decided to call to follow up on my resume. I spoke to a receptionist who transfered me to someone's phone and left a message to call me back. About a week a half go by, I call their office again. I inform the receptionist that the last time I was connected to someone they never called me back. She ends up transferring me to a rep in Fresno who tells me that she can't help me because she only works out of Fresno but gave me the number to someone named Karen. She also said that she would email Karen to expect my call. I call Karen's phone and again, no answer. I left a voice message and asked her to give me a call back. It's been exactly a week and not a single call back or email to notify me of anything. If you don't want to do business with someone, please say that. I wonder how many of the companies they do business with know that they're missing out on potential quality candidates for their companies because Robert Half wont call you back. read more

Robert Half has incredibly poor customer service. I met with the recruiter, completed the 7 tests that they gave me and never heard back from the recruiter. A week passed and I was receiving emails asking me to schedule an interview and do the initial process all over again. I kept having to remind the recruiter that she already met with me and had my resume on file. She would apologize but the next week I would receive another email asking the same thing. It made the job searching process even more frustrating. I asked to be removed from their system and went to AppleOne. My first week I was submitted for a position and got an interview. The second week i did a drug screen and was offered a job. Wasted a month with Robert Half. Go somewhere where they will actually place you. read more

My experience went almost like Candy J's did to a tee. Never got a call back. No replies to my email and not once did I receive any information on job opportunities. After my initial interview Karen told me that if I didnt hear from them they haven't forgotten me. I hadn't heard back in 3 weeks and called them and they lost my paperwork. So...they forgot me. They have not returned any calls or emails since. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars because every time for the past 4 years it has always been very clean and so relaxing looking, they have a fountain in the inside of the building with chairs so people can sit down, they have a lot of businesses in the building and it's a community space I believe. But office team is located on the 2nd floor and have been there a while, so far it's been nothing but 5 stars, and help you find a job pretty fast. read more

What exactly do they do? The first time I went to Office Team was in July 2013. I spoke to the receptionist and I was able to talk to a representative about my resume. After a couple of questions, I was advised to call back within a week for an update. I did as I was told and the rep simply told me to call Labor Ready. Yes, really. No explanation was given. (I was a high school graduate...not a handyman!) The second time I went to Office Team was June 2017. That was the second and final time. I spoke to a representative who glanced at my resume and told me to send her an email with my resume. My questions seemed to bother her, so I just went home and sent her the email. No response. I called back and I received a very curt message within the lines of: "If we find something, we will contact you." Yes, it is quite peaceful in the reception area, the staff is pleasant...but I believe they only assist a VERY specific clientele. Possibly people with decades of experience. I pale in comparison with my mere three years, so I suppose I should not be too annoyed. Anyway, I feel like the staff could have been more helpful. I felt like I was completely ignored; they could have told me something! read more

Don't bother. I have been completely qualified for multiple positions on the website and have applied, called the office (twice) and left messages for the same person and have never received a call back. I've never received a response regarding my resume in spite of the fact that I would be a GREAT candidate to submit. It just doesn't seem like a very good way to run a placement business. The one star is only granted because you have to in order to post. read more

Robert Half (Office Team and Account Temps) is seriously the best staffing agency in town. I have been with them since 2008 and have gotten several assignment through them. Morw than any other staffing agency in this town. Karen has been so helpful from day one and Alley is wonderful as well. I don't know why other agencies slack on getting work, but I'm not complaining. Im glad i signed up with them all those years back. Because of Alley at Office Team, I'm at a place that fits me and my background. I love it and never wanna leave. Thanks for everything guys! read more

I feel very lucky to have been employed by Accountemps. Miss Allie Espinoza especially has made the experience so much easier and pleasant. The best experience with a staffing agency ever! read more

I have been with Office Team since 2009 and I can certainly say that Karen Banks and Beyonka have been there for me to help me find a job everytime I call in every week to let them know that I am available. They have matched me with assignments that have good pay and give me added skills. I recommend them to everyone. Now go sign up!!!!! read more

I'd give no stars if I could. To begin, they post bogus job listings online with excellent pay rates to entice people to apply, so they can get their info. They call you to interview, which you're under the impression is for the enticing job you submitted your resume for, when in reality they're really just "interviewing" you for their company and to get your info, and will tell you that job position is no longer available. Once they hook you with the promise of the many jobs you will supposedly be submitted for and you give them all your info, you'll never hear from them again. I've called and emailed multiple times, never get a response, and have yet to be submitted for a legit job. read more

I'm not selecting a star unless I have to in order to post. I met with a representative from Office Team in 2016 and was told I was going to be submitted for a job that day. That is the last time I had any contact. I've submitted my resume, oh, I'm going to estimate around 25 times for positions they had posted on Indeed AND on their website that I'm perfectly qualified for... no response. I sent an email to the person listed on the posting, TWICE... no response. I called personally and left a message for the same person, TWICE... no response. I am ready to work, have YEARS of valuable experience and I've received absolutely no contact whatsoever. I know there is a lot of competition in the job market but the recruiting business relies on people wanting to come to you to find work and your job is to do what you can to place them. I give grace when it's needed but that doesn't mean this is a very good way to run a business. read more
