Our choices for dinner (day before reservation) were seating at 6:15 or earlier or 9:15 or later so reservations well in advance are recommended. We started with cocktails (& they had a few creations) & had a "Buried in Sand" and a "Holy Mule-" Both excellent! Our server was helpful & made some wonderful suggestions once she found out it was our first visit. All the dishes (small & large) are great for sharing. As it seemed a staple of the menu (that changes daily) as well one of their specialties we decided to start with the Bastard Planka. A nice variety of house cured ham, salami, chorizo, pate & pickles-one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the Klemmings Oysters as our second starter. So fresh, salty & exquisite! For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! They also have a bar area (open kitchen) where you can grab a seat to try some of the entrees or just have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine if they are fully booked. Will definitely be back. A bar in the middle and mixed seating with table cloths gave it a fine dining feel. They are known for their extensive Wine and Champagne list and that definitely lived up to the billing. We ordered a bottle of Zuccardi 2021 Torrontes-light, fruity and paired perfectly with Brunch. Extensive list of Brunch selections that came out as a Seafood tower- Shrimp from Smögen, king crab, prawn salad, crayfish in garlic, seafood salad, cured fjord salmon, herring, fish pâté, smoked salmon, langoustine, cucumber and horseradish salad, eggs, bread, sauces-all so fresh and delicious! Fish and Chips were tasty and we finished with a White Chocolate Mousse. Service was friendly-that said, could've been more attentive. We did have a chance to speak with the owner and he shared how they've recently redesigned their interior. For our party of four, about $60 USD or 600 SEK per person for a Seafood Lover's Brunch. For the second dish I was looking for something reasonably priced, so I ended up with the white asparagus creation, which again was okay, but rather small for the entrée dish - I guess you get what you pay for. I came into this restaurant just looking for somewhere to have lunch. I didn't know i was going to be confronted with seafood soup and two types of beef tartare as the main entrees. That being said, I got the beef tartare and it was hands down the best I have ever had. The service wasn't bad. The ambience was... Swedish. But, it was perfectly fine. A real treat.

Food is mostly vegetables, although not all vegetarian. There's a definite farmer feel to the cooking. Plates are on the smaller size, ranging from 80-120sek, and they offer a chefs choice of 4(out of 6) dishes for 300sek. Even though I really liked the cooking, what Kv åkern really has succeeded with is atmosphere. The decor is simple, lightning is great, seating is cosy and there's plenty of variety from bar seats to farmer table. This place has a very welcoming feel to it, and although it was difficult to get the waitress attention, we'll be back :)

We ordered the 300sek chefs menu and where not let down, it was 4 plates of great food, the first one was especially memorable for its simplicity and taste! a potato served in an incredible broth with a local made cheese, the waiter recommended the wine for us and it was amazing as well.. all of the dishes where great though. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere amazing and styling lovely! Will definitely be coming back again.

I don't know how Ihsiri would do in Bangkok, but it compares well with Thai restaurants in North America. We shared papaya salad and crispy tofu with cashews. Both were great. And two draft beers of course. We ate in the interior courtyard on a sunny day. It was lovely. And the service was great. Lund is a university town with enough international students that it can support restaurants from around the world. If you're in Lund and you like Thai food, don't miss Ihsiri.

How could a restaurant that deliver such playful food offer such a terrible experience? Can't say much about the food other that it's an experience, playful and curious. Beautifully laid out. The ambiance is ok. There's not a feeling of a "crowd" people clearly come here for a one-off experience. The sad part is that I leave this restaurant tainted by the terrible service. And I've lived in nyc, so my bar is high. The head server thinks he's funny. As in, he's clearly enjoying making fun of people. Everything we answered a question he had a snarky comeback. At first we thought we'd just ignore him - but seriously those comments just kept coming. Plates were cleaned while guests were still eating. Wine pairing arrived without asking clearly what we wanted. Coffee took 20 min to arrive. No one asked us if we were happy with the food. No one cared really. Here's the strangest bit of all; No explanation was given to what we were eating. As much as I can appreciate delivering a concept. Giving us a QR code to google a menu that had almost no detail about what we ate is utterly unsatisfying. There is one menu for the night and you can choose between 3 or more courses. The ingredients are also seasonal. This sort of concept allows for the restaurant to serve high quality, delicious food that is a really reasonable price. Also, the set menu takes the pressure off from having to choose something awesome! Everything is fantastic. The servers do not inform you of what you are eating before you eat it, but you are welcome to ask after! I was so much more engaged in experiencing the flavors in the food and enjoying it. It was also fun to see if I was right! I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat and can't wait to go back again soon!

Some chocolate mousse & frosting-a Chocolate lover's cake. As with the Lund location, the Cappuccino was perfect-strong with a proper balance of espresso with milk & froth. You have a choice of lactose free or Oat Milk. A nice variety of seating with a couple of lounge areas in the middle. Not as many windows as Lund but still a great atmosphere with this location playing French music. No wine (as with Lund) at this location. They also have sandwiches & salads. Nice place for some dessert, coffee or lunch.
