Located, conveniently at the front entrance of the farmers market, it is impossible to resist, especially when offered a free sample. Their method of combining the fresh fruit, frozen slush and condensed milk is the perfect mix. I must have scarfed mine down in 90 seconds. The prices are reasonable, I believe I paid around $15 for two. I tried the combination flavor, and my friend tried the one that was not made with Berries (can't remember the flavor titles, but there's only 2 and one combination one) Literally perfection. I come to this market a lot, I also love the lobster rolls next-door. Put together, it was a perfect afternoon snack. I can't wait to come back and have more of these delicious treats. read more

A delicious treat at the Yellow Green Farmers Market -- look for it outside, it's one of the stands furthest from the entrance but it's well worth the walk there. I ordered a combo of the tropical citrus and red lava (berries) cholado and topped it off with strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple. FYI: A cholado is a frozen fruit drink with condensed milk. DELICIOUS! RICH FLAVORS! Everything tasted fresh, from the cut fruits on top of the cholado to the mix of berries and citrus fruits in the icy beverage. While other foods/drinks that photograph well for social media but don't taste as good as they look, this isn't the case with the cholado. It's tastes even better than it looks! I'd recommend eating the cholado with a spoon, to scoop up the fresh fruit with the liquid-- which also helps limit a potential brain freeze. My only critique is the paper straw they use. You can't drink this quickly because of the impending brain freeze one might get, but the paper straw gets soggy as you try to finish the drink. Other than that it's a 5/5 dessert option at the Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood! read more

A hidden gem! I love this little drink stand. It is located (for now) in the Yellow Green farmers market in Hollywood, FL. It's a stand outside and closest to the end of the market by the coconut stand and the Venezuelan/Chinese bbq guys. This is every little kids and now adult's dream! To make and customize your own sweet or fruity drink and stuff it with everything you've ever loved. Or choose from their preset drinks. They also serve doughnut burgers (meatless) , just sweets/fruits topped with doughnut buns. They have two styles of drinks as the bases and then you build from there. You could either choose the Cholola (fruity slushee base) and add what you'd like Or you can choose the Chicha base and add what you'd like. I tried both and both were absolutely delicious. It depends on your mood on what I'd recommend going for. If you don't know what Chicha is, chicha is a sweet drink made from rice milk. Typically thicker in consistency but that all may vary on the makers. Similar to the Mexican drink horchata but again horchata it's more liquid base and usually served with ice. Chicha is typically served with condensed milk and topped with cinnamon (try it as so, you won't regret it). Here I made my own and I added half a doughnut, pirulins, pineapples, strawberries, and condensed milk. I went a little crazy, I know. But this was a delicious drink meant to be shared with the world. You can add whatever you please but be-careful because it's easy to get carried away and end up spending $10 on a drink. Again it is definitely made to share so it's is still worth it ! Enjoy! read more
