Accompanying salad with entree

Came with some friends to celebrate a birthday and was quite impressed with our first dining experience at Volare Ristorante. Volare is a moderately upscale Italian centric restaurant with a nice menu that covers most of the main dishes when you think of Italian cuisine. For our first meal here we ended up getting the Chicken Marsala and Beef Ravioli entree's. Both dishes were well prepared and very tasty where the Ravioli was definately my favorite with its tasty cream sauce taking this dish to the next level. Relative to fthe acility and staff, The restaurant itself is quite comfortable and has an upscale feel to it. The Wait Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu where their apron uniform comes across as a classy establishment all at a moderate price level by today's standards for more upscale cuisine. Overall, we had a great time where this restaurant was hitting on cylinders in my opinion. We will definitely will be returning in the near future to further sample the other items on their menu

The restaurant itself is quite charming, but the experience was mixed. The bartender was just okay, and the food was fairly average. Still, the place has a cute atmosphere.

The food was filling and delicious. Wait staff was very attentive. Very nice atmosphere. A bit loud for normal volume conversations. Will definitely return to test out the patio seating in the summer.

Veal Marsala perfection.

Anniversary dinner started with fabulous service and a warm welcome. Moved onto the sausage and peppers appetizer (highly recommend) with a just right spicy sauce. The Veal Marsala was perfection and the broccolini perfectly cooked - not bitter. My hubby had the king salmon and gnocchi which is literally the marriage of his two faves. Bottle of Cakebread from the well curated wine list. Can't beat this place for ambiance, friendly service and good vibes.

My coworker highly recommended this restaurant so I decided to take my husband here for his birthday. We live about 45 minutes away. We ordered calamari, salmon pasta, and he ordered a chicken dish. Everything just tasted super bland and the service was just ok. It was busy that night so we didn't get our waters refilled nor did anyone really talk to us/check on us besides to take our order. Our drinks were good but that's about it. Wouldn't drive 45 minutes again to come out here.. but if we are in the area, maybe we will give it another chance and try the other items on the menu.

Food was great, service was a little slow, we had to ask for things multiple times, but we went on a busy night. We sat outside in the shaded patio area, and it was well insulated. We'd go back

Chicken piccata

Volare was a cute destination in downtown Wixom. We had a nice dinner on the patio. Food was good but slightly overpriced. I opted for the halibut piccata (chicken and veal also offered). The best part of the meal was our burrata with prosciutto appetizer but I've had better burrata. Wine selection was ok. Service was decent. I can't say this was my favorite restaurant excursion in the Detroit area but it was a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

20oz veal chop...the best I've had in years!

The service was outstanding and the food even better. I have seen anyone serve a veal chop like this in quite awhile, it was fantastic!

Nicer upscale Italian restaurant right downtown! Service was prompt anytime we asked anything! We started by sharing the NYC salad and it was HUGE for the price! His filet was just okay with a different taste then a normal filet which would be the only downside we had from the night! My ravioli with veal, spinach and mushrooms was amazing! To end we had a cappuccino and espresso that was served with a rock candy! Such an amazing tough and experience!

Veal Parm, Top plate is side pasta of Angel Hair and Palomino sauce.

Very nice location with parking, cool ambience, and even an indoor/outdoor seating for nice warm nights. Classy picture on the wall when you walk in with characters from the Sopranos/Godfather/Casino. The food was good, Ordered the VEAL part. $35 and a very generous amount of meat. However it didn't come with any pasta so you had to order it separately on the side for $10. Angel hair with Palomino sauce, very good.Didn't order dessert as we were too full, but the chocolate cake was MASSIVE, but as it should be for $20.

This is the home of my absolute FAVORITE fettuccine Alfredo. Fresh noodles and the Alfredo is never gluey (looking at you, Olive Garden). Dad is Italian, and always gets the baci (which reminds him of his childhood), and Mom will eat almost anything off this menu. Save room for dessert - cannoli and tiramisu are out of this world! Service here is fantastic - never had a bad server and every one is frendly and efficient! So, next time you are in Novi, be sure to stop by this homey restaurant and leave full!

I have had some really nice experiences some years back and thought the food was delicious.. I still want to give a huge shout out to the servers as they try so hard. The place is super busy really and crowded and the space is rather small for the number of people who are dining. There are also people standing around waiting for tables for a long time on a weekend evening. They are trying to serve food, provide kindness and accuracy, and they do a great job. I have to mention that it made our table sad when we witnessed one of the managers being harsh with one of the wait staff as that person was doing a great job and that person did not deserve any harsh treatment. I know things can get tense on a busy night but kindness from the top down is so important. Onto the food, it is just not as good as it used to be. There were many chicken dishes that could have been prepared better. The chicken was tough. The sauces were under developed, and it did not reach the mark that it should've. Specifically, there was one sauce on a couple things that just seemed like it was plain chicken broth, and that was not even flavorful. I am not sure if the management has changed from years ago, but the food seems to have changed. I really don't like giving reviews that are not positive and I hope this was just a one night situation. The food on this night was not up to par but the service was so fantastic. I want to recognize that and I also always want to support a local business. We will try again next time.

Inside, it's really welcoming. Clean, comfortable tables and chairs, and it looks like they recently refreshed the place with updated walls, art, and lighting. Nothing fancy, just done right. We started by sharing a Greek salad and it was very fresh, with an excellent dressing. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was out of this world. I honestly do not know how the chef did it, but the chicken had this incredible crispiness and freshness, with a perfect crunch that still stayed juicy. The portion was extremely generous. The pasta was excellent and the sauce was exactly what you want with chicken parm. I could not even come close to finishing the whole plate. I heard a certain renowned Italian restaurant owner loves to come here for the parm! She says no one makes it quite like Ardiana's chef. The owner, Robert, brought out a carrot cake for us to try. He said it was all organic. It was fantastic. Moist, with a great caramel sauce and walnuts. At that point I was waving the white flag because it was just too much good food. Robert also mentioned they are opening a small bar soon, which will make this place even better for a casual dinner. If you are in Novi and you want a great Italian and Mediterranean spot that over-delivers, put Ardiana's on your list.

Luckily it lived up to the hype and my expectations! It's a carryout place, FYI, with a few chairs for waiting if you walk in and order which is what I did. They do have online orders, which I tried to do ahead of time, but my card was being dumb so I decided to just swing by and order IRL. That gave me ample time to check everything out, too! Upon walking in I was charmed by the staff who were VERY nice (and offered me lots of gelato to sample as I waited for my order!). The second thing I noticed were the delicious looking baked goods and desserts behind the counter. Breads, cookies, cannoli, tiramisu, cheesecakes, etc. I grabbed a chocolate chunk cookie to nibble on during the drive home plus a strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. All were outstanding! For our entrees I ordered a couple of things for my husband and I to split--the chicken parm sandwich and a margarita calzone with added Italian sausage. LOVED both but my favorite was definitely the calzone. If you're a fan of a gooey, cheese situation you're gonna love it too. Also the portions are HUGE! I got both for us but we could have split one of them. Each was double what I expected and we had leftovers for days! The gelato was also excellent. They offer several sizes, including pints, perfect for taking home and stocking the freezer. They didn't have the flavor I wanted pre-scooped in the cooler (the cherry stracciatella) but they kindly hooked me up. So good!! Speaking of coolers, they also have another cooler stocked with a ton of beverages, including some fancy imported Italian sodas (many I had to look up while I waited since I didn't recognize them). They also have a few dry goods. Not a ton but a few some bonus goodies like pasta sauces, olive oil, jarred preserves, etc, to pick up when you stop in to grab dinner or dessert. I wish I lived a bit closer but they're not TOO far and I'd absolutely go out of my way to get everything again. Especially because the portions which would feed us for a few days!
