    Full review (9/23/21): I do NOT recommend this studio. After…read moreI posted my original review on Google earlier today, I received rude, insulting, and shaming messages from the owner Oksana on Instagram, which she since has "unsent" from the Instagram chat. Rather than trying to work with me to resolve the situation, she chose the path of unprofessionalism and shaming. This included Oksana sending a message and the screenshot of my Google review in a group chat with the other students that were in the beginners classes with me. Screenshots on this review include: Part of messages where Oksana refuses to honor the terms of the Groupon I had already purchased (yesterday); Her private messages to me shaming me (today); the terms of the Groupon. Oksana was at the studio at least one of the times I took classes and did not introduce herself to the students. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, out of soap, dirty, and really unkept (pieces of wood in the corners, no door/curtain on the AC unit closet, mop bucket right next to the toilet). I should have seen these as red flags, but I really enjoyed Marina's classes so I expected to continue being a client at the studio. This is the hardest review I have ever had to leave, as I really enjoyed Marina's classes. However, the owner of a business should never treat anyone this way. I hope this review can help avoid others being treated this way. For further clarity, Oksana refused to honor the terms as stated in the Groupon I had paid for. I was not asking for anything except to be given what I had purchased. Screenshot of the listing included in this review was also sent from me to Oksana when we were messaging, and she still refused to honor it. The Groupon I purchased stated that 1 person could purchase it up to 4 times in a 365 day period. There was nothing anywhere (including at the studio) that indicated otherwise. Not honoring the Groupon as I purchased it is unfair to the client and is not proper business practice. Forcing me to choose between getting a refund or giving it to someone else for their use is poor customer service. Original review left on Google- 3 stars (9/23/21): Took beginners classes with Marina: 5/5 stars. Marina was great. She demonstrated routines, gave individualized feedback, tailored to her students, & was encouraging but not pushy. Marina did not make the experience uncomfortable or awkward. Customer service by owner: Poor. I had purchased a second Groupon and recommended for my family to also purchase and go with me. The owner refused to honor the terms that were clearly listed on the Groupon I purchased. I was not asking for any special treatment or for anything that wasn't clearly listed on the Groupon I had paid for. The owner blamed it on Groupon for changing the listing without permission, but refused to make a one-time exception based on the terms of the Groupon I had already purchased. She basically offered me an ultimatum of requesting a refund from Groupon or having a family member use my Groupon. I respect, understand, and support small and local businesses. However, it is unfair to treat the client as if they are in the wrong for something that is beyond their control... Especially when they are supporting and recommending your small business.
