I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. I went in for a balayage and haircut, showing a reference photo of the caramel/light brown color and style I wanted. Instead, I left with blonde hair and a choppy layered cut that looked nothing like what I had asked for. The appointment took over 6 hours, which was far longer than expected especially when I had an appointment. During the bleaching process, no timer was set, and I was asked if 30 minutes had passed, which made me uncomfortable and concerned about how my hair was being handled especially as it was my first time and so my hair was virgin hair. I ended up having to pay for another salon to fix the color, and while they helped correct it, the haircut still isn't what I originally wanted. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I highly don't recommend going here. read more

I kinda feel feel like the people who rated Vj's touch 1 star are lying to themselves because I go there monthly and I can say that Vj is a professional. Just take my advice and try out getting a haircut there. read more

I've had a great experience each time I visit Vi's touch. It was recommended by a family friend. He's very experienced and it's amazing what he can do to your hair. read more

I've been going to this salon for 12 years and the service I've been getting is excellent

Best hairstylist ever! Been going to him since I was 10 years old. I have very curly, thick, frizzy hair and he's the only one that knows how to cut & style my hair. Weddings & special events I definitely go to him for updos and down dos. I will definitely be going to him for my wedding day read more

Varouj is great hair stylist and frindly I would recommend him to every one by he is very nice happy and has positive thoughts

After 9 years of not coming to this place because the last time I did I had an appointment and because I was a kid he made me wait 5 1/2 hours, he has failed me again. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago and after driving 30 miles to get here I find the salon closed. Thank you for remaining consistently unreliable throughout the years. And! the only reason I made a late afternoon appointment is so it wouldn't interfere with his sleep schedule from 12-2. Really? What happened to customer service? B.S. read more

Vj's Touch - only thing missing is the tumbleweed - Hair Salons Near Me - Glendale, California

This place is packed with regular clients. VJ himself is a great hair stylist. He speaks Armenian and Farsi, very limited English. His staff is nice and friendly. They always offer you coffee and sweet desserts while you are waiting to get your hair done. The wait is very long to see VJ. Namely because the clients all seem to be getting ready for big formal parities, so it takes longer to style their hair. I would recommend visiting on a weekday, maybe less of a wait. The prices are very low and the hair style quality is high. Never had a manicure there before, but there's one nail technician who offers manicures & pedicures as well. read more

Absolutely amazing! Got three haircuts done here on myself my sister and my mom, and I am never going anywhere else for a haircut! Varouj is amazing, and professional! I'm convinced you could just kinda mention what kind of style you kind of want, and he will give you the perfect style. Great! read more

VJ is a very good hair stylist, and I've been his loyal customer for years. I would be glad to give this hair salon 5 stars but for the wait we sometimes have to put up with. These people do a great job, and I'd rather wait a little longer here than go to someone else and get a not-so-good of a job. I guess you can't have everything at the same time - great stylist, nice staff, good service, affordable prices, no wait. But really, if you need a faster service, try to schedule a weekday morning appointment. I'm sure you'll be happy then! The picky person that I am about my hair, I'm happy with VJ's Touch! read more

Do not ever go to this salon and give him your business. I went to a salon this morning very very last minute (people I always go to didn't have availability). There was a new assistant working there super super sweet and provided excellent customer service. I asked if she could wash my hair thoroughly since I had mousse on...she said sure and did it in UNDER 2 min. The owner of the salon started YELLING at her and belittling her in front of everyone including myself (THE CLIENT)!! The girl was trying to explain that I asked her to wash my hair. He was insisting that there was no reason to wash my hair all she had to do was wet it. The girl said I understand I'm sorry but if the client is asking me to am I supposed to say no?? In front of me and other clients this man threw a fit verbally harassed her over and over. We all got involved I felt extremely horrible feeling like I caused the whole thing just because I asked her to wash my hair. (Didn't even know this is not included for a damn haircut). Long story short this sweet girl was in tears and no matter how much we tried he would not stop his rude behavior. Stay away and take your business elsewhere. He has no respect!!!!!! read more

he doesn't deserve to get any star and be in the business at all... i have been here for 30 years, never ever met someone like him... my first and last time. very uneducated, unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful ... he is such a jerk... with the zero professional and customer service skills. he was the same way with the lady working for him... yelling at her front of the customers and treating her like no human...the color i had with him, didn't even change the color of my hair roots. they stayed the same were before the coloring. he gave me different price before, charged a lot more after. the people i saw there were elderly ladies... i am sure he is using them because they don't drive to go far, they don't know the prices so he is charging as much as he wants... thats how he is making lots of money and buying houses with cash money and selling them... i was there, when he was talking to his realtor about all this... don't even try this stupid stealer... read more

This is worst place I ever visited. The guy was very rude. The job he does horrible I won't recommend anyone to go that place Very dirty environment They literally pull your hair They give you different price And charge differently Please stay away from this person who doesn't have any skills and human being sense read more

Worst customer service, makes you wait for hours and in the end got me a bad haircut, which I had to fix later because it was totally uneven. Worst worst worst, save your time and don't go there. read more

Best and fastest haircut of my life. I'm Armenian, so this place made it feel like Glendale in the early 1990s, so fresh, so Armenian. Thank you for a great haircut. read more

I've never had such a horrible experience anywhere than I did at this salon. While getting my hair styled for an event I was given all the following complimentary services: hairspray directly sprayed in my eyes, a curling iron burn on the left side of my eye, and aggressive pulls to my hair strands (all of which did not follow with any reaction from the owner/stylist whatsoever.) Him and his assistant were extremely rude to me and lacked customer service. When I told them I did not like how it turned out he said "no don't worry. It'll look great." I'm not quite sure how hair u spent 15 minutes curling and "styling" could look great. Never go to this salon! Why? Because no amount of "talent" (if u could even say he has any) deserves $1 or your time when given to a person that's truly disrespectful and so full of themselves. read more

I did only one hair style with him and I like it. So, I am continuing go, but it is very individual, some people may like him, some are not, but for my opinion he is good enough and the price is reasonable. read more

Worst hairstylist ever!!! He does not know how to do anything. Everything he does on your hair is old style!! I do not recommend anyone to go there! You have to wait hours because he gives everyone an appointment at the same time. He has a very bad attitude problem and should learn to respect what the customer likes and not what he likes! I will never go by him and do not recommend for anyone to go! read more

Have been in this salon few times for my nails and Zhermen did a great job. This is the only place I can trust I know all her tools are sterolized and clean. read more

Best place to get your hair cut!!! Varouj has some magic hands!!! Even the way he blow dries your hair is just beautiful!!

This place is indeed great, I got my hair cut by Varouj and I love it. He's consistently professional, attentive and really nice! My ends were very damaged as I used a chemical dye over my hennaed hair a while back- I also had extra short layers done by another hairstylist. Varouj gave me exactly what I wanted - didn't chop off too much/too little.. which is the issue I have with a lot of other stylists. Varouj listens and delivers. Love my hair! read more

Love how Varuzh cuts my hair! Other places I've gone to, they chop off most of your hair no matter how much you tell them to. I've also wanted to change up my hair and he would tell me what would look good on me and what wouldnt. There has actually been a time where he refused to cut it a certain way because it would really look fake and bad and I am glad he didnt! Varuzh is the only person I trust with my hair when it comes to hair cuts. He also does amazing hair styles and LOVELOVELOVE his up-dos. I also dyed my hair for the first time at his salon, and could not be more happier with the outcome. Recomended!! read more

I want to make your life simple so just listen to me and stay away from this AWFUL place. I was there on time and they still made me wait for 2 hours and then I got so frustrated that I left. I was not going to spend my whole day there. read more

If you want to have an excellent hair cut , this place is for you! Every time I go there my hair looks perfect. Sometimes you need to wait a little longer, but it's really worth it. And prices are amazing too. read more

VJ's was recommended by a co worker whose hairstyle I always admired. So I went here today and witnessed VJ magical hands in motion on my hair. I liked what he did to my hair, exactly what I wanted. I will forever be a customer. read more

The first time I was satisfied. But other times I came home crying. He doesn't listening carefully what you say. The last time I told him I don't want bangs but he cut my hair than said that he forgot. Every time I wait at least 30 minutes. read more
