VJ and Kesh have been taking care of our plumbing needs for seven years - from sewer inspections to household repairs. They are always professional and pleasant and get the job done. I have called Kesh several times and he has instructed me on how to resolve minor issues over the phone myself. Great people and great plumbers. read more

I needed the water valves to my washer dryer replaced before I could get a new washer dryer installed . Kash was super helpful. Told me exactly what to ask the apartment building people about water shut off . He came on the day the building manager could turn the water off . Kash and his team did an amazing job. I have used Kash 4 times before and he is always professional, pleasant, helpful, reasonably priced and always does quality work. Best company ! Thank you Kash ! read more

We have a small rental house in Venice, and recently we were transitioning to a new tenant. When I went to the property to change it over from the old tenant, I noticed a few plumbing issues which I was not aware of earlier and I started to freak out. I couldn't have plumbing problems with a new guy coming in the next day!!! I called VJ's Plumbing and spoke to Kash who calmed me down and told me he'd take care of it. His pricing was very competitive with other plumbers I contacted that day, but his knowledge and confidence made me choose him over the others. And I wasn't disappointed. He came quickly, took care of the issues, and gave me a fair price. I'm so happy with his services that I've already called him a second time for an unrelated issue! And again, Kash came through and solved it quickly and fairly. Looking for a plumber in Venice? Then go to Kash and VJ's Plumbing! Thanks Kash!! read more

I manage a large estate in Brentwood, and Kash at VJ's Plumbing is my go-to guy for any plumbing-related issues we have. Finding a vendor that is attentive, friendly, fair-priced, and responsive in this city is like Captain Ahab finding his white whale. Kash is our white whale. He has come to my rescue more times than I care to remember. This afternoon we had an issue with a broken toilet, and after a short phone call and a couple of photos exchanged via text, Kash was at our property and had the problem resolved within an hour. read more

They did a great job fixing my pipe that was leaking. He had to cut into the dry wall but did his best to cut only what he had to access the pipe. Technician advised me on problem and solution. Fixed the problem in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

Kesh showed up ON TIME and resolved the problem in a half hour, which is very critical when it's a shared water line for multiple units in an condo complex. He knew all about how to turn the water on slowly to accomodate a large building's water supply. His fast work is because of his very high level of experience and craftsmanship, not because he's overly fast. It would have taken me hours. Worth hiring him. read more

They did a great job on replacing water pressure regulator, replacing two bathroom sink faucets, and replacing our shower faucet. That required accessing through the wall. They patched things up neatly. They are not the cheapest plumber in town, but they provide great value at a reasonable price. They know what they are doing, and my side and I found them to be trustworthy. We will definitely hire them again when necessary. It's a relief, because plumbers are inevitably needed at some point. read more

Just great, fast and efficient and fair pricing. My favorite plumber so far in Santa Monica.

Been working with VJ and Kesh for at least a decade. Great family owned local business. Two days after the fires my water heater cracked. With 6 displaced friends crashing at my house hot water mattered. Within 24 hours of calling Kesh I had a new heater installed. Besides being high quality professionals they are high quality people. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Kash @ VJs plumbing is my go to for my personal plumbing needs and those of my clients. He's fair, honest, fast and knows his way around a bathroom! 5 stars all the way!! read more

VJ was very communicative and very professional. He provided updates and helped resolve the issue with my water heater tank really quick.

I can't praise VJ's highly enough. Kesh and Mo are master plumbers. They show up on time, do the work professionally and at a fair price. And in my experience, they always leave the work area neat and clean. read more

Great service and just great people. VJ's is my go to source for all of our plumbing needs. Highly recommended.

So here is the problem. I have used this plumber for about 20 years. Mostly for small items but occasionally for major problems. I have never not paid a bill and have never questioned their invoices. The only complaint I had in the past was that they leave the area in a mess. On Friday December 15th we had a major pipe break under the floors. I immediately called him and he came out and shut off the hot water and was to return on Monday. We discuss insurance coverage and he felt it would be covered. On Monday he tells me we have to pay everything in advance because it is company policy not to deal with insurance. This is the first problem. He is the company. Don't hide behind "the company" when it is you. As a result he will not defer payment until State Farm pays. (P.S. I have had them and our family has had State Farm for over 80 years. They always pay.) Next I ask we we can defer payment for a week and half. Its an unexpected expense and I just need that time to get the money together. The cost will be a minimum of $1800.00 and involves tearing up the floor. He does not respond. So now we are without water for 3 days so far. If you want to keep long term customers, maybe you should alter the "company" policy when asked once in over 20 years. Whats the point of building up a long term relationship with smaller jobs when you cannot respond to a true emergency in an unbending manner. read more

FINALLY a plumbing company I know I can count on! After using a few others for some minor plumbing problems, I looked again on Yelp to get a third opinion on a continuing issue. V.J.s looked promising, reading the reviews. I appreciate a family run company as I feel they are more dependable and a contractor you can rely on for years to come. I was not disappointed and very appreciative for the quick response I received. Kesh was just here and all said and done, no major problem, he did the ugly work and gave me a few tips. Again, a family run company gets bonus points from me. I now have a plumber in place I know I will be able to depend on!!! I will be passing their name on to the others in my complex! read more

I have had an on-going problem for months. After pursuing a multitude of other remedies with no resolution, I contacted Kesh to inquire about his services and described the situation. He couldn't possibly have been more kind, patient, or eager to help! However, rather than running over to my home and potentially charging me a pricey plumbing bill, he suggested that I try a home remedy first. In less than three minutes, he told me what to do, it cost me $15.00, and it worked like a charm! Kesh is clearly knowledgeable and honest, and when I called to thank him, he was so humble, to boot! I am beyond impressed, forever grateful, I can't thank him enough, and I would highly recommend him! read more

These guys are the absolute best!! Kesh is super responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. He's extremely honest as well! I've had a lot of trouble finding a dependable plumber in West LA - between overpricing and being strung along for hours - I just about gave up! But then I found VJ's and I'm set! No need to look for anyone else. They are fantastic. read more

V.J.'s Plumbing Inc. is fabulous. I'm staying at a friend's house in Santa Monica for five days. I closed the drain to wash a swimsuit and couldn't get it open again. The lever didn't work, a butter knife didn't work. I was at wit's end. I was lucky to call V.J.'s. Kesh, the owner's son, answered the phone at 8:10 a.m. on the first ring and called me back when reception was rough. He got here before 9 a.m. from another job and fixed the problem in a matter of literally seconds. Then, he refused to charge me. The service call was free. He cleaned the plug of scum and hair, replaced it, and left with a cheery goodbye. His dad waved from the car. I am very touched by this incredible display of good will. Please pay it forward. Hire V.J.'s Plumbing. Beyond fair and good. ! read more

The is a very honest, fair prices, fast, reliable and family owned business which is rare these days. I've been doing business with them for at least 10 years and they've never let me down and always solve my plumbing problems. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. read more

A pipe broke under my house on a weekend. The shut off valve at the street was rusted closed and the crawl space was flooding fast! V.J. Plumbing was the ONLY plumbing service that listed an emergency number. (!) Thank God. (Everyone else said "Leave a message, we'll call you back on Monday.") By Monday we would have floated out to sea! Thankfully VJ's son, Kash, answered our desperate call, arrived with a helper and did a very good job pumping the crawl space out; then fixed the section of broken pipe (while lying on a piece of cardboard amid the mud!) They returned later to replace the worn drainage system. Did a solid job on that too. They know their stuff, explain options and are are very responsive: A great plumbing family! read more

Been using VJ for years - they can do big jobs (condo complexes) or small ones. They installed a steam shower for us, which was complicated and do fantastic basic plumbing work. Honest and reasonable prices as well. Kesh and VJ are the best - highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love these guys (worthy of my first ever review)! SO responsive, fair, and good! After moving in and discovering problems with our new home that prevented hot showers, we called, based on a referral, and Kesh came immediately (15 minutes!) and created a fix that bought us time to fix the bigger problem that required a different type of provider. Later that day, we discovered a new problem with the refrigerator, and he and Mo were back out first thing in the morning. They made themselves available during the weekend if we would need them when the refrigerator guys came back. And only after all of that was resolved did he give us a bill!--which unsurprisingly for these guys, was so fairly priced. Wish all providers had V.J.'s ability to put customers first and to do great work. read more

These are the best plumbers in SoCal....and trust me over the years of owning many properties and as an interior designer working with tons of subcontractors...I have used many. They are super fair in pricing, get the job done properly & efficiently and omg sooooo clean (I am beyond OCD...so that alone says a lot). They also are truly the most honest plumbers and have saved me a lot of money. I have used them for about 5 years now and will never use anyone else. Nicest people on the planet too. read more

These guys stand out from everyone i've ever worked with in plumbing. They have helped me on lots and lots of repairs now and always fix the problem the right way the first time. I've never had to call them back about fixing something we've already fixed. It means so much to have literally complete confidence in the people you choose to work with. Can't find that these days. i'm an advocate of this team bc for years they have helped me and since day 1 they have been consistent, responsible and done top notch work. read more

I called VJ's after seeing the Yelp reviews and was also very happy with them. The plumber they sent was clean, courteous and seemed very competent and professional. He completely renovated both my toilets for what seemed like a very reasonable price. read more

I was initially referred to V.J.'s Plumbing by my next door neighbor, who was very pleased with their service. We first used them a few months ago when we had a major gas leak from our pipeline. They did a terrific job not only replacing our pipeline, but causing as little damage and disruption as possible to our lawn and hardscape. The workers were professional, courteous, and it was a very fair price. Today, we had a burst pipe under our home caused by our hot water heater, leaving 6" of standing water under the house. Kesh (VJ's son) came right out and repaired it within the hour. It was an awful job, and Kesh handled it with the same professionalism, good nature, and fair pricing that we had experienced before. I'm happy to have finally found a great plumber we can consistently rely upon! Thank you to VJ and Kesh! read more
