Woah. I've always been picky about getting my haircut, whether it was my description of what I…read morewanted or just a bad cut, it's definitely something I loathe. I was checking places out around Youngstown. Finally decided on Petes based on a phone call & proximity to my house. This unassuming shop (in the back of Pete's house but don't let this stop you, it's a fully functioning barber shop separate from his actual house) is totally legit if you're looking for a good barber perfected cut. With more than 55 years of experience, Pete was full of stories & super welcoming & totally first class. Did a straight edge cut to blend my hair & a sweet fade in the back. Super affordable, great guy, great experience. My favorite haircut. Never had a cut from a barber and you can be sure I'll be back again and again.

Finding the right barber in a new location, almost sounds like a daunting task. For me one of the…read morebiggest fears in finding a new barber is walking out of facility after the cut and being able to deal with the outcome until your hair grows back. I am sure many individuals could relate, but let me just say with this place you don't have to worry. First of all, EVERYONE in this barbershop is extremely friendly and mostly importantly lively. The environment is laid out in such a way in which an individual can truly enjoy good music, and at the same token have a great conversation. Sergio Flores, is the individual who cut my hair, and usually I'm a nervous wreck, but from the moment I sat down on the really nice comfy chair he just had a way of making me feel at ease. The passion and excitement he expressed while cutting my hair is just phenomenal. Honestly I am so glad I stumbled across his instagram page and more importantly this facility. Booking an apt was really easy for me, I actually just DM'ed him, but you can all the facility and set up an apt as well. The place got pretty busy around 12, and I got to see the work of the other barbers as well , and let me just say , everyone did a phenomenal job. Thank you Rahab and more importantly thank you Sergio. I will 100% be back.
