Had ADT for almost 20 years and service has gone way down since they were bought out years ago. My…read morealarm has stopped functioning. LOUD rapid beeping never stops. After over an hour on phone with overseas call center, it's still the same situation, even though power has been pulled from the outlet and the backup batteries disconnected. How is the panel still screaming? When can next service person get here to fix it? Oh that's a 4-day wait. It wasn't like that years ago. I looked up BBB of Western and Central Mass. They gave ADT an excellent A rating. However there were over 10K negative reviews and it looks like all were 1-star ratings, the lowest. BBB says the reviews play no part in their grading system - in other words ignore the grade from BBB.

Immediately to add or change service but why the long wait to cancel. Buyer Beware!!! With so many other options out there stay clear of ADT unless you want to throw money away for no monitoring. Update: Five minutes after posting and I am on the phone with ADT. The offer is now to upgrade my system. While that is satisfactory, I should not have had to post on Yelp and google for ADT to step up and make good on a customer who has been with them for 16 years.
