I love me a good milk tea.. So i would have to say i have mix feelings the drink was okay. The flavor if my milk tea was very light like it was water down. I like that there were snack options but also those fell a bit short in taste as well. Maybe it was just that night. I definitely would give it another try. I got the takoyaki it definitely was nice and hot but it was a bit mushy in the inside and a very very small piece of octopus seems like i didn't get any at all. Then there was the popcorn chicken. My friend was iffy about since the chicken color was off i think it might have been dark meat. But they didn't like it and the spice on it they weren't a big fan of. A friend recommended this place and said their Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken was legit. They were very tasty - the only thing was I wish they evenly sprinkled the salt and seasoning throughout the chicken vs just on top of the bags, but the chicken, batter, flavor were very good. The Japanese soufflé pancakes were so fluffy and yummy! The whipped cream sauce was not too sweet and very tasty. I got the earl gray fresh milk tea with no sugar and it was so good too. Got greeted when I came in. I took my time to look around and I ordered on those self cashiers. Depending on the drink you have options for small, medium or large. The drink that I got that was the Oreo Creme Brûlée came in large. I wanted to add boba but maybe I'm not bright enough so I couldn't find it lol and i didn't ask either. You have the option to add the sweetness of your drink. Love that! I ordered the Taiwanese Popcorn chicken, the Korean wings as well. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken were SUPER salty. I went to the front to tell the girl and she was super nice went to the back and gave me another one. Which was way better. She didn't have me any attitude or anything. I mention that because I read a comment saying how rude they were. Honestly I had a pleasant experience. The ambiance is pretty chill. Have various chair to sit and a big table. It's been a long time since I walked through a legitimate night market on the streets of Taiwan so seeing any snacks locally are certainly a touch of home. I'm glad Vivi is across town. Otherwise I would probably make this my home base on weeknights and weekends! Ordered a jiggly pancake, popcorn (spicy) chicken and a passionfruit/mango drink (re: bucket). All the flavors are Asia sweet and savory meaning the drinks are not overly sweet and the flavors are nicely pronounced. Service is a nice touch and the open airy concept definitely invites anyone to stick around for awhile. The menu is expansive and you cannot go wrong with just about any choice! I went to Vivi to get a refreshment drink earlier this evening after my workout at Chuze Littleton. (A great place to do classes with people.) the drink I got was taro crème brûlée with tea jelly, which cost a dollar extra. Although I did like the Taro, I did not enjoy the tea jelly as much as the previous purchased I made for another drink with herbal jelly. Since I was there by myself, the atmosphere was medium. They did have some music on, but I think with a lot of people in the shop, I would probably would not have heard the music. If you sign up for their reward program, they will give you 10% off your first purchase. Bottom line: this place has great tea drinks with a lot of variety choices. read more

I was disappointed with my experience. The ambiance was awkkkwarrddd I walked in and the girl in the front looked annoyed while what it looked like to be the owner was behind her just observing everyone and everyone. No smiles. No welcoming greets. And on top of that both were on their phones and didn't care to throw our suggestions or anything. Also a lot of their drinks are Large size only (expensive) and not only that their fries were also toooo overly priced. I will definitely return here as a snacking place to hang out with friends. It is spacious, with bright lit walls and modern yet cute decor. The food tasted pretty authentic especially the Taiwanese sausage and popcorn chicken. I'm very glad since I haven't found better snacks like such as Black Pearl had closed. Korean style wings are fantastic as well. Just lots of yummy finger food to share with friends and take a relaxing break! The drinks, however, were subpar. And that's why I would strongly recommend that they change their name from Bubble Tea to something more focused on the snacks. We came for the drinks as that's what's appealing in the name but we were also disappointed by them - the milk teas were so weak I mostly thought I got bobba sweetened milk, if you know what I mean. And the various colored slushy drinks just scream of food dye and beverage chemicals, comparable to that of Lollicup's. Shudders. Again, I will happily ask my friends to come here and have an afternoon snack of freshly made food items, from savory to sweets (the mochi donuts are not bad). I love seeing a boba place also serve snacks! This is definitely the way to do it! I ordered a regular milk tea with pudding and enjoyed it. In my opinion, there weren't many different milk teas (that focused on different teas) to pick from, but there was a lot of variety on the menu in general. We also got the mochi donuts. They weren't as light or fluffy as some other ones I've had before, but I enjoyed them. The store was modern on the inside and felt "clean" in that way. I did not try the boba drinks but they looked delicious. I would not recommend the banh mi sandwich, it's expensive and there was 3 piece of meat on the sandwich. The bread was really fresh but the bread to condiment ratio was very off and not worth it. I would recommend spending a few extra dollars elsewhere. Great drink options and boba! Love how the boba syrup that they soak it in isn't too sweet. Service was so friendly and welcoming. Clean, comfortable seating that invites you to linger more than some of the other places around Denver. The mochi donuts are so good here. Crisp on the outside and light and chewy on the inside. The flavors were light and not artificial tasting. The frosting wasn't super oily with a weird oily coating afterwards like I've had at other places. I haven't been the biggest fan of mochi donuts in Denver from some subpar experiences that left me disappointed but this place restored my excitement about them. Our family loves Hana Matsuri for sushi and when we learned that they were affiliated we were so excited. We loved mochi donuts and Vivi's are by far the best. They are not greasy and have a great texture. The service was friendly and warm. The fried spicy chicken was definitely worth ordering.
