The staff is friendly and the service is attentive. While we have the big blue hardware store in town, I can find about everything I need at Tractor Supply. We have been getting our propane there for our camping trips since they opened. They typically have good prices and you can't beat the service. Recently it was grass seed time and Tractor Supply had the best price on the Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue. While picking that up I noticed they had just opened a self service dog wash. Typically if we wanted a self service dog wash it would be at least a 25 minute drive to the other side of town. Having Tractor Supply 10 minutes from the house made this super convenient. We brought our dog back to the dog wash about a week later. They have two metal dog was tubs with steps for larger dogs you can't pick up. They have a selection of about 4 different shampoos. The one feature that I like that the other location doesn't have are the grooming tables. The adjustable height tables allow you to properly dry and groom at a height that doesn't kill your back. They provide brushes, combs, etc but I would rather use my own that don't have hair from a previous dog. The dryer also reaches the grooming tables. I think I will return just for the convenience, but know to bring some of my own supplies next time. All in all, Tractor Supply is a great addition to the neighborhood.

I can't speak on how prices compare to somewhere like Lowe's or Home Depot but if I need a hardware type item and I'm home this is my go-to' place since they are only 5 minutes away. When I went to buy screws I showed an associate what I needed and they bagged them up for me. Also, I feel like the associates here are better trained than Lowe's or Home Depot. Ruckersville is about an hour drive from where I live, but it was worth it. I found Shayne in the appliance area, he had the dishwasher waiting for me, along with a new hose, and an electrical kit (which turns out I did not need) rang me up, and then loaded it into the back of my pickup truck. The plants are dried out and dying still wrapped in plastic sleeves not moved onto the shelves. I finally walked into the store after noticing the line did not move at all. The self check out inside the store was one lady who worked there not helping anyone out with older people struggling being absolutely ignored. I pushed the help light button and the woman standing there literally just looked at me not moving. I asked again, can you help me? She comes over and clearly would not have if I didn't ask. I told her that there is a line in the garden center not moving and her retort was they are short staffed? Well, maybe being a store employee someone could help out in the garden center! A store the size of Lowe's should not run on half a dozen people. The plants in the garden center shouldn't be dying from dry soil. Deplorable! Done forever with Lowe's.

Danny, the owner and his staff are very helpful and it's great to be able to run down the hill to find that one critical part of a project that's missing instead of driving 35 minutes to Waynesboro.
