They used to have great customer service and now it's nonexistent. I ordered two lumbar pillows in May 23 for my summer furniture, it's now August 19! No response from them and I have cancelled the order. After calling seven times and holding for numerous times, I finally got through today and canceled my order. I let the rep James know how bad the customer service was and he said he'd bring it up to the higher-ups... I doubt they know or they do know and they don't care. read more

I was looking to purchase 2 items my wife had on her wishlist. The two items came to $78. Then came the check out experience.... First, shipping was an outrageous $25. Then they add a mandatory $5 "insurance" fee. Then they add tax. You'd think, tax is legit right? Well no. Even adding the shipping charges to the goods ($108), my sales tax is 5.9% so that would be $6.37. Viva Terra, is charging $8.14 for tax, so they are skimming more off the top or they are charging local sales tax and not destination sales tax. I did not proceed with my order. read more

My comments are like the other reviews on here. I ordered a 36" stone cairn sculpture. I never received an itemized invoice; just a general one that didn't have any breakdown of pricing. When I finally saw the breakdown the shipping cost was an outrageous $40 for a very simple sculpture. The breakdown pricing also didn't match the amount charged to my credit card. When I emailed to ask about that, I never received a response. When I realized I hadn't received my order after several weeks, I called. I was put on hold for 40 minutes. When I finally got thru to someone, I was told the item was on backorder for possibly a few weeks from now. I never received an email about this. I asked to cancel my order. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE--NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD STEER CLEAR! read more

Horrible experience with Viva Terra. Ordered an 8 piece dish set with cups and serving bowls along with metal drink stands on November 7 which I thought would be delivered for Thanksgiving. Today is December 13 and I just got a notice that the vendor had cancelled the order altogether. In the meantime no metal drinks stands either. Frequent calls to Viva Terra asking for honest updates and none were ever provided other than a generic should be an update within two weeks. So here it is just before Christmas and back to the drawing board on dishes. Clearly the last time we shop anything from Viva Terra. read more

We ordered live edge shelves from them which were very pricey, and the shelves did not match their listed dimensions even remotely and had straight cuts at the edges (unlike the photos). I called to complain, and the service rep hung up on me. read more

I called Viva Terra customer support to ask a simple question about the promo code "VTDEAL0309," which appears on their website. When applied, the code shows as accepted but does not change the price, so I wanted clarification on what the "deal" was. Instead of answering the question, the representative began collecting my shipping information and rebuilding my cart. Only after doing this did he tell me that the code was not a deal at all, but an internal marketing code. This was confusing, especially given the word "DEAL" in the code name. He then quoted me the regular item prices as if they were part of a promotion and claimed the code "guarantees those prices," even though they are the same prices shown without the code. The call became uncomfortable when he attempted to complete the order by asking me to read my credit card information over the phone. I declined and said I preferred to use the secure website. He continued to pressure me to place the order and mentioned that he works on commission and that I was costing him a sale, which I found unprofessional. Additionally, I did not call to place an order; I called to ask about a promo code. The interaction felt unnecessarily drawn out and sales-driven rather than helpful. After the call, I found another promo code online ("WELCOME20") that did provide an actual discount, which made me question why this was not offered or why my original question wasn't simply addressed. This experience made me uncomfortable enough that I will not be ordering from this company. read more

Outrageous shipping cost and terrible service I was excited to order from Viva Terra, but the experience was awful. Shipping was an outrageous $44, and 2 out of the 3 items were on backorder for over a month--with no notice until after checkout. I never received an order confirmation email, which is basic customer service. I called three times to cancel, and each time they promised an email confirmation that never came. Still nothing. Unreliable, unresponsive, and overpriced. I won't be ordering from them again. read more

We ordered wooden Chinaberry Mushroom Garden Stakes at the end of 2023 and they were in a mostly shaded, non sprinklered section of our yard for just under a year. The finish on these things is completely gone and they are splitting and look bad now. Terrible quality and a total waste of $150. read more

Communication with Customer Service has been unsatisfactory. Dealing with orders and returns have been an extremely time-consuming and frustrating experience ----so much so that I will discontinue any contact with this company, from now on. read more

I should have read the reviews prior to ordering. The items I ordered needed to be returned and although they were helpful in sending me information on the return, I was not able to follow up with them. There is no customer service and I've already spent almost 2hrs on hold in order to contact them. Will not order from them in the future. read more

Got a succulent sent to me because I lost a loved one. No message on who delivered it, just an invoice showing how much paid. Tried to call to get the info, after 20 minutes, they answered, let me know who sent it. When I expressed my displeasure on their service and wait time, they hung up on me. Disgraceful. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered a gift for a friend on 11/20/2024. I used a coupon code for 30% off. On 12/28/24- still no gift. I can't track the package. I've spent more than two hours on hold twice and was promised the order had shipped and I would get free shipping for my trouble. Yet still no gift has been delivered. I was charged full price and didn't get the discount and no free shipping. I am very unhappy. They don't even respond to requests for a callback or e-mails. Don't buy from this company. read more

This catalog offers a variety of artistic home decor and Garden items. I have bought several items for gifts. Their glassware is unusual and beautiful. I recently bought their bottles in several different colors and sizes for myself and gifts. I accidentally made a wrong selection but Viva terra was wonderful about the return and exchange. Keep in mind this was my own fault. Appreciated their kindness. They don't have very many sales but when they do be sure to jump on it. read more

If I could give this company a negative star review I would. Someone gave me a gift card to them almost a year ago, and I have been unable to use it because they only can apply it during business hours Monday through Friday by calling and placing the order over the phone. customer service does not reply to emails. Isn't it 2024? read more

Do not buy from this store. I ordered something on line and was told that it would be shipped within 3-5 days. Then nothing but crickets... when I wrote them about the order I finally got an email stating "it's delayed" but no additional information. I really believe this is a scam website f I don't get.any updates read more

This company is THE WORST. I paid $152 dollars for shipping this chair which apparently covers ONLY the truck. So I was left with getting it from the curb and then disposing of a huge wood palette. When I reached out I was told this is what I signed up for which I just find insane - I guess its in the fine print. The driver tried to shake me down for cash to bring it inside and when I said no - he ALSO charged me to take it off the truck and I got a bill in the mail a few weeks later. The company said I'm lucky he would take it off the truck. What kind of racket is this? What if I were disabled or old or just physically not able to carry something like this. They couldn't care less. read more

Horrendous customer service, they would NOT confirm CANCELLATION of my order though the shipment would be delayed for over three MONTHS! NEVER ORDER from this company, the customer service rep was cordial, but the customer service manager was horribly rude and obviously did not care about retaining the customer. They don't carry any inventory apparently and blame everything on the "vendor" although you pay Viva Terra!! read more

Twice I have ordered a product from Viva Terra. Each product began to fall apart. The first item, Rainng Seaglass Mobile , was a gift. The glass pieces began to fall off in less than a month. Alas, the time period was after the 30 day return policy date. The mobile is still in the catalog. The second item, Riverstone Floor mat, lasted five months. The stones are popping off one or two at a time. Again, this item is still carried in the catalog. I emailed the catalog and was told nothing could be done because it is past the 30 day return date. Do not order either of these products. They do not stand up to daily use and the company will not back the wear of the product. read more
