Everyone else on the boat also took good care of us. We had a blast, saw lots of different fish, had snacks, drinks, and lunch. Loved that we stopped at the beach as well where we were able to take lots of pictures and ride the banana boat! Extreme adventures was also a very nice experience. Some were scarier than others but I still did them and had a great time. I'm glad I got to face some of my fears. The staff was friendly (Enrique, pauline, Erick, joya, Jorge, Katy, Alex, and hector) and they all took such good care of us. I never felt unsafe and knew I was in good hands. Please bring bug spray, there are lots of mosquitoes over there. And be aware if you want to ride the ATVs it's $50 extra non refundable insurance. We opted not to do that and still had fun and didn't feel like we missed much. If you want pictures, buy the picture packet when you book online because it's triple the price if you decide to get it on the spot.

With the boat tours they tell you exactly when to show up. The computers have all your details and if there's a problem or if you have questions, they help you and are very professional about it. Your ticket is clear- which boat number and trip you're on. They make announcements ahead of time and it's in an orderly fashion. Once on the boat, it's party time. They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We had a highly skilled captain, very entertaining and informative tour guide and many helpful deckhands. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. We arrived back at port safely and highly enjoyed our excursion. If we had more time, we would have done more.

We boarded the boat at around 8:30 and right away were asked if we wanted anything to drink and were giving breakfast (some fruit, a mini muffin, mini cinnamon roll). The boat was so spacious and clean, we have been on boats before where you're packed in like sardines but there was so much space to move around and sit. Plus the chairs they had for guests were very comfortable patio style chairs. Ricky was our host and he was so kind and fun. The rest of the crew was amazing too. I believe they said there was around 15 staff members catering to us so there really were people always asking if you wanted another drink or needed anything. They had two masseuses on board, you just added your name to a list and they would call your name when it was your turn (completely free but nice to leave tip for ladies). We got to a private Bay Area (literally not a single other boat) and were offered paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks, Lilly pads, jumping off top of boat. Our only critique was we only got water time for about 45mins-1 hour another 30 minutes would've been perfect. We then departed for Yelapa. The town is very small and you had two options, 1st: go to waterfall and explore town/ shops. Or option 2: go to the beach in Yelapa (can't do both) you then got an hour in the town to explore. There were a couple of shops with people selling jewelry, souvenirs etc. and a couple of places to buy a drink. After Yelapa they feed you fajitas which were pretty decent. We appreciated that all the food was portioned out and given to each person on a paper plate, so no worrying about buffet. They played fun music for us and gave chips and guac towards the end of the excursion. Boyfriend and I definitely took advantage of the open bar and they were always so fast with the drinks 10/10. Overall, a wonderful experience and all of the staff were so so lovely (all spoke English as well if that's a concern) we would recommend this tour to anyone!

Shoutout to Ricky Ricardo, truly the hostess with the mostest -- high energy, fun, and kept the vibe going all day. They even slowed the boat down so we could watch whales, which was a highlight, and having a photographer on board was a nice touch to capture the day. There are iguanas, parakeets, monkeys, a python, a lemur and a toucan. You can actually get pretty close to some of the animals you can hold the toucan and go into the monkey area, where you can feed them a little cup of banana purée. My 3-year-old absolutely LOVED seeing all the animals. One tip: if you order something from the menu, you don't have to pay the separate $5 entrance fee to see the animals. We were already going to get a refresher, so that worked out perfectly. Overall, we had a really good experience, but I definitely wouldn't drive an hour into the jungle if this is the only thing you have planned. I'd recommend having a few other activities or stops nearby to make the drive worth it. You also really don't need to spend more than 30 minutes to an hour here. The river water was extremely muddy when we went. Locals told us it was still safe to get in, but personally, I wouldn't risk it. Overall, really fun, especially with kids, and not a bad little stop if you're already in the area!

We were provided with neck gaiters, goggles and helmets. This was a private tour, so just two of us and our guide and a photographer/videographer. (NOTE - make sure you take some photos of your own along the way). So much better than a slow dusty caravan of the group tours. Then, off we went! The first bit of the ride is through city streets to get to the road up the mountain. The cobblestones of PVR gave way to dirt roads and some paved areas at smaller towns along the way. After an hour or so, we stopped at a small bar/restaurant and enjoyed a beverage by a waterfall. We had a great conversation with Agustina about traveling. The road up the mountains has some holes and some puddles so you have to pay attention, and we occasionally encountered some traffic (mostly other ATV tours or buses) and a bull, a donkey, a cat, and several dogs. The speed bumps in the residential areas can sneak up on you, too! The views of the mountains are beautiful and you spend a lot of time running along the Cuale River. We always felt safe and Augustina was a fabulous leader!! When we returned to the office, the videographer had compiled our video and photos to review on the computer. The price was a bit silly $1500 pesos ($100US) for either the photos or the video, $2000 pesos for both. So, we passed on that. We have already recommended the tour to fellow travelers and would even take the same tour again ourselves. Highly recommend!!

It was plainly obvious to me that everyone working for them genuinely enjoys their job, and that spirit effused itself into the whole group. The tour starts at the local port, which was easy enough to navigate. Anyone leaving via the port has to pay a simple 4 pesos charge as you are technically leaving the country for awhile and have to be re-screened when you re-enter. Buying this, and the security process on both ends was quick and without issue. They give you a quick orientation, and advise you on what you'll need to have a good day. This same information is in the emails sent to you prior, so none of it is a surprise. If you choose, there are places to buy reef-safe sunscreen, hats, and other items like cell-phone bags for underwater use in the waiting area. Once you get on the boat, it's just a constant party, and our group loved it. Tropical drinks and cervezas flowed endlessly, fresh fruit, energetic music played, and the crew kept you hyped the entire time. The boat ride itself was smooth to all stops, and the wind was refreshing in this tropical paradise. Out first stop was snorkeling on the reef in the Marietas. While this reef is long since sun bleached and fairly devoid of color thanks to climate change and increasing water temperatures world-wide, there is still a fair amount of marine life to see. The guides were helpful and safety conscious but not intrusive. They called people over if they spotted any rare sights. It was enjoyable but not breathtaking. The next stop was a beach party. Swimming, drinks, buffet, waterfalls, and lots of wildlife. Macaus were everywhere. The water was beautiful and clear. The food was absolutely delicious, and much appreciated after the activities. Again, no problem getting a drink, staff eager to serve. The ride back was the biggest surprise, in what could easily be a let down moment, the crew put on basically an 80s and 90s hits lip sync performance and show, complete with costume changes. Super engaging, hilarious, and really... a genius way to earn some more tips and keep a simple ride-back more fun. All and all, would book with this company again if and when I return to Puerto Vallarta.

I enjoyed the history and customs of taco making and consumption that he shared. We ended up revisiting 2 of the locations the next day and going to a stand we walked by but didn't visit because they were sold out. She had a sign with our name on it outside the airport. Paid her in cash for the full round trip service, They offered us drinks and took us to Sebastian who would be driving us. The drive took about 45 minutes to the Conrad. They returned to pick us up like promised. Arrived when they said they would and took us back in a private car. Definitely worth the service and peace of mind.
