It has been a couple days since my first tandem jump with Viva Skydive and I am still telling friends, family, and colleagues about the most amazing experience I had. It was INCREDIBLE!!!! The jump is not like falling - at all. At no point did I feel like I was plummeting towards earth and a pancake future of death! No. It's not like a rollercoaster, falling to that dip in the ride. It is closer to speeding down the highway and sticking your head out the window. In both you feel trapped in the experience. With the skydive the moment is Free-er, Bolder, more Dynamic. The THRILL is freedom. The level of safety doesn't get in the way of the moment, it opens the moment. It was Magical! There is so much safety involved that it surprised me. I felt secure the entire time. The Viva instructors, grounds people, and pilot are competent and made me feel free to live that action star dream. Two gripes. One, our jump was scheduled for 930 but we didn't get in the plane to jump until 1130, so plan for more time than you think. Maybe they are giving you plenty of offramps to change your mind. Second, the moment was over WAY TOO FAST!!!! The 30 minute plane ride gives way to 5 minutes down. I wanted to stay aloft longer! After we touched down, I told Tyler (Ty), I want to do it again, right now! The emotions, the excitement, the adrenaline, the whole experience culminated in 5 minutes of sheer bliss! The views of the Rio Puerco, green and lush, the Rio Grande, a bounty of green, the mountains, Belen! Goodness...the pleasure of the moment, I can't fully capture it. It was truly enchanting! I just had the most exhilarating experience at Viva Skydive, and I can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, the entire team made our group's tandem jump unforgettable. First off, a huge shoutout to Ty, my instructor. His professionalism and calm demeanor instantly put me at ease. He explained every step of the process clearly and made sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire jump. Ty's enthusiasm and expertise truly made the experience thrilling and enjoyable. My apologies for being on the "heavier" side! Alyshia, the manifest, was incredibly helpful and friendly. She ensured that all of the equipment was donned correctly and that we were aware when others in our group were jumping so we could watch and take pictures. Her efficiency and warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic day. Lastly, a big thank you to Dustin, the owner of Viva Skydive. He was kind enough to squeeze us in after another company was unable to accommodate our reservation. It's clear that he runs a top-notch operation. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the entire staff was professional and passionate about what they do. Holy smokes, what an adrenaline rush! Just had the most epic tandem skydive with Viva Skydive, and I'm still buzzing. Let me tell you, this place is a must-do for any thrill-seeker! My instructor, Ty, was a total rockstar. He was super chill and explained everything. I never felt nervous once! Alyshia, the manifest, was super friendly and made sure we were all set to go and even braided my hair!  Finally, Dustin, the owner, was such a cool dude for squeezing us in when another place couldn't handle it. The whole crew at Viva Skydive was top-notch. Their facilities were clean, and everyone was super professional and passionate about what they do. Every single person at Viva was kind, welcoming, and pumped for me to be making my first jump. The instructors were very thorough and informative. I jumped tandem with a separate cameraman jumper. Ty was my cameraman, and his energy was contagious; he helped keep me calm while still hyping me up. My tandem instructor was Kevin, and he was so informative and answered every single question I asked whether it was about jumping or something random as we were making the flight to 10000ft. The video quality was faaarrrrrrrrrrrr more incredible and amazing than I was expecting. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be jumping with the crew at Viva again! i did a tandom jump for my 70th birthday with viva sky diving in belen new mexico and these guys are amazing i was ask if i,d do it again and as i told them at the time no becouse at that moment i thought that part of my bucket list was done and there is no need to do it again but you know things change and if i,m still able then why not you only go around once in life and if it,s the sane great group of guys doing it then hell ya i had a blast and when you have such a great and very professional group like viva sky diving watching your back why not thanks for a memory i will carry with me forever you guys rock read more

He was very knowledgeable and informative about the whole process which made me feel really safe! The actual skydiving experience was amazing and I felt such at peace soaring through the skies!
