Maple syrups

An absolutely darling shop with great food finds that are worthy of your kitchen, a hostess gift, or holiday gifts, and outstanding service, all in one place. The oils and vinegars are top-notch. I use all of them in my cooking and in salad dressings. The white peach balsamic vinegar is not to be missed. The raspberry balsamic is phenomenal in salad dressings, and adds a nice zing. The imported foods make for a perfect noshing table. I absolutely love everything I've ever bought here. Highly recommend.

My first review for 2021 goes to Viva Oliva. I purchased some local condiments here for NYE, and I'm happy to say they were a hit! If you like a spicy jelly, then you must pick up their Ojai habanero jelly. This pairs well with any cheese! It has a little kick to it but not so much where it burns your tongue. My other purchase was the ever so popular Truff hot sauce. They have 2 choices of the black truffle; hot & hotter ($17), and white truffle, but the white truff is pretty expensive at $34! I purchased the regular hot Truff with the black label. The reviews on this are mixed, but in my opinion this is a unique hot sauce that has a very subtle hint of truffle so it's not overpowering. There is a slight sweetness due to the agave, and the heat level is very mild. I used this for a shrimp batter, put it on potato chips and mixed it with ranch dip. The possibilities are endless on how to use this. There are so many good options here to support local businesses. Olive oil, chocolate, balsamic vinaigrette's, olives, handcrafted wooden utensils, jellies, pistachios, and much much more. I also, bought some cute wooden serving spoons. Looking forward to to going back for more goodies.

Viva Oliva! Traditional Balsamic Large and small (gift), Sesame Oil, Olive Oil and Noble Syrup! This is affordable and delicious luxury!!

Years ago I bought a bottle of 18 year Viva Oliva 18 year old Balsamic Vinegar. In my life o hav never had anything so beautiful!!! I used it sparingly because I wasn't sure if the company was still around. Upon the last drop I searched the web and found them. They never left! I promptly ordered the largest bottle of their Traditional (which is 18 year) and then sesame oil, olive oil and a bottle of #101 Noble bourbon barrel matured maple syrup. Literally within a few days I received my order. Their products are amazing and their customer service goes above and beyond. (I had a few questions and they answered them immediately via email). I am so excited! Fresh Mozzarella, basil and tomato. A splash of Viva Oliva Olive oil and a dash of Viva Oliva Traditional Balsamic and viola...I'll look like I know what I'm doing! Thank you Viva Oliva! The next time I'm in Santa Barbara I'll zip in!

Our happy hour cooking with Viva Oliva's utensils canister and balsamic vinegar.

Lots of cool stuff. Excellent place to get gifts for friends. It is a little too pricey to get anything for myself. (I'm cheap)

We recently discovered Le Sorelle at the Santa Barbara Night market (a temporary holiday pop-up…read moreshop through December) as we were doing some light holiday gift shopping. Donatella invited us up to her shop to try some samples, and we were sold - literally. We ended up buying a couple of bottles for our family and a couple of bottles for ourselves, along with some incredible olive tapenade (she threw in an extra treat, which was very kind). Of the oils, the pure virgin olive oil was the cleanest and most applicable to diverse uses. The mandarino was incredible and so unique...we'll try it on some baked squash or beets or carrots. The limone was super interesting as well, and I think Donatella suggested trying it on salmon. So we'll take her word for it and try that! These are authentic olive oils with very unique flavor profiles. Worth your business this holiday season and beyond! Visit them online or at the Night Market.

The Adamo Extra Virgin Olive Oil transforms a simple salad of mixed greens with a few fresh vegetables into a bold and spicy treat. "Le Sorelle" translates to "the sisters" and is aptly named as its founders, Anna and Donatella, are sisters whose family originates from Puglia. These two dynamic women are passionate about providing the highest quality products to consumers and they have completely hit the mark! I seriously hope more restaurants start using their products. They will compliment just about any dish and take your palate to new heights! Delicious!

So, we came here for a second visit during our 3-day visit, at around 3pm and it was very empty. We ordered the same thing, Salty Surfer with mushroom, and my kid added pepperoni this time to his kids cheese pizza. It was just as tasty as last time, and everyone even ate the crust lol! Service here is so friendly. The staff are super chill and casual, and were all really nice to my 7 year old kid. Our table was a bit sticky and we put a napkin over the sticky part, and when a staff was clearing our table, he apologized for the sticky part for not cleaning it. Not a big deal at all, but really nice it was acknowledged in such a respectful way. This will now be my go-to when we come back next time!

We ordered a Confit Garlic Bread and Salty Surfer based on other recommendations. I honestly wasn't too much of a fan of the Salty Surfer as it don't stand out compared to usual pizzas I would get elsewhere, but I really enjoyed the Garlic Bread. Very cheesy and the basil is a good addition! Would definitely want to try something else on the menu next time!

So much to love about this intimate Italian Restaurant space. Congratulations to Andreas and Brian,…read moreand staff for bringing such an enjoyable and delicious experience to Santa Barbara. Fortunately with our group we were able to try the various Spritzers. Our favorite being the Manifattura Spritzer. And such a hearty selection of Italian Wines. With each one pairing nicely with our dishes. I highly recommend starting out your meal with a nice glass of the Falanghina, and then pairing with the Barolo and Chianti Classico. For the table we started the evening with their Zucchini Blossoms and house made Focaccia Romana, and dove into the Antipasti and Pasti dishes. Each dish more delicious than the next. Highly recommend making reservations, it's still such a hot spot there in downtown Santa Barbara.

We understand the need to turn tables in the U.S. (not done this way in Italy) but this dinner pacing was so rushed it ruined the enjoyment for us. We ordered a pre-dinner cocktail, a starter and two mains with wine. We had just received the spritz and cocktail and my entree was served less than 5 minutes later with the dinner wine. No time to enjoy it at all. They let you know several times that your reservation is limited to 1 hr and 45 minutes. We were done in less than an hour. For me. This is not how you enjoy excellent Italian food. Given the choice again, I would go back to their first restaurant, Aperitivo, instead.

The first time, we stopped in because my daughter was hungry--one bite of the pizza and I remember thinking, "wait... this is actually really good." Fast forward to now, same situation, same reaction. Still memorable. The crust is nicely thin with that perfect balance--crispy but not dry. The margherita was cheesy, flavorful, and super well-balanced (not overly salty or greasy, which is rare). Just clean, simple, done right. My husband tried the lemon mushroom, and that was surprisingly good too--bright, a little different, but still comforting. I also love how easy it is here--you can grab a single slice or go all in on a full pie. They've got beer on tap, and there's even a free old-school arcade game, which made it extra fun for the family. Laid-back vibe, great pizza, and one of those places that sticks in your memory. Easily my favorite pizza spot in Santa Barbara lately.
