We were there for three nights, and overall had a great experience. Our main complaint would be the food, which we found to be mediocre overall, though there were definitely a couple of standouts. Next time, I'd skip the buffet except for the freshly made stations, which were the only part consistently worth it. We really enjoyed the teppanyaki at Tamari, and the fish and shrimp tacos from Blaze were so good we had them twice during our stay. On the other hand, dinner at Blaze was unremarkable and we were disappointed with the pizza and zeppole from Melanzane, though we didn't get to try anything else there. I do wish we had stayed an extra night or two to explore more of the dining options, though based on what we experienced, we may not have missed out on too much. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Rafael at the club lounge bar and Lizbeth at reception - both were a pleasure and made our stay even more enjoyable. I was also surprised by the size of the gym and the variety of equipment. I made sure to get at least one workout in and really appreciated the incredible ocean views while doing so. We visited in February and never felt like the resort was overcrowded. In fact, some restaurants seemed surprisingly empty at times. One thing worth noting: they have pickleball courts and a basketball court, which we didn't see advertised anywhere. We would've packed our pickleball gear had we known, but fortunately they provide equipment you can borrow. They also offer activities throughout the day - we mostly enjoyed the evening bar shows. I'd definitely recommend downloading their app to keep track of the schedule and access other helpful hotel information like menus. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay and a strong positive experience for us. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the dining experience didn't quite match the rest of the resort. While the food could be more consistent, the friendly staff, beautiful setting, amenities, and relaxed atmosphere made it a memorable stay.

Plus it was the grand opening of the Casanova's outside terrace named for my world famous dog Casanova. Both Casanova and myself showed up early to enjoy David Duvall playing the piano in Mary Ann's Ovations lounge. We visited the Casanova Terrace and had a delicious bacon wrapped barbequed hot dog and a beverage. Back inside we enjoyed more music. Then at 7PM we went to see David Maiocco in Casa Karma's Red Room starring as Liberace. What a show. Not only does he have a striking resemblance to Liberace but he is world class pianist. I've never heard a piano sound so incredible. Both Casanova and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The evening was capped off with Marsha's delicious variety of homemade cookies and a 50/50 Raffle, both benefiting the Elevator Fund. We can't thank David Sabella and Cate Valcic enough for putting together another fantastic evening of entertainment. They are working so hard to make Act 2 PV the entertainment showplace of Puerto Vallarta. Applause and Congratulations to them both!

AND another friend split the jackpot. Today, students from a nearby dance school performed for the crowd. Proceeds from the afternoon BINGO event were donated to the school. Loved that we stopped at the beach as well where we were able to take lots of pictures and ride the banana boat! Extreme adventures was also a very nice experience. Some were scarier than others but I still did them and had a great time. I'm glad I got to face some of my fears. The staff was friendly (Enrique, pauline, Erick, joya, Jorge, Katy, Alex, and hector) and they all took such good care of us. I never felt unsafe and knew I was in good hands. Please bring bug spray, there are lots of mosquitoes over there. And be aware if you want to ride the ATVs it's $50 extra non refundable insurance. We opted not to do that and still had fun and didn't feel like we missed much. If you want pictures, buy the picture packet when you book online because it's triple the price if you decide to get it on the spot.

A reservation is a must for all restaurants but can only be made in person between 8am-12pm so when check in is at 4pm you already miss out on dinner anywhere for your first night. Staff was short and rude. We got to the pool at 7:30pm after finally being able to eat after everything being closed and we were told no more towels were available since pool closes at 8pm. The staff came by at 8pm sharp and told my children to get out immediately or else they would not be able to use the pool tomorrow. Timeshare lady was pissed that we were not interested and gave us the dirtiest look and stormed off after letting her know we would not be buying. Been to alot of all inclusives but this has by far been the worst. Which sucks after being recommended and is clean. We prefer other locations that have food service available all day especially since we have littles and no hidden costs for alot of stuff.
