I previously purchased a liquid Iron supplement while on vacation in Florida due to severe anemia developed during pregnancy. Unfortunately, my OBGYN said the product did not contain enough of the daily value needed, so I decided to return it once I got back home.
I walked in and the employee was with another customer. While she was ringing out that customer, she asked me what I needed. I said I was making a return, to which she replied "we recommend you return it to the store you purchased from so you don't mess up our inventory." I told her I purchased it in Florida, and she then asked, "well did you buy it online?" I told her no and she reluctantly conceded to complete the return.
I've never had any business tell me to return an item to another location to not "mess up their inventory." It seemed lazy and disrespectful to me. I guess I will take my business to Vitamin Shoppe for my supplemental needs in the future. read more
