This is a relatively new satellite office for Grady Hospital. It's located off Lee Street in the…read moreWest End. Honestly I never knew this plaza was in this neighborhood. Once you turn into the parking lot turn left and look to the right. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a hello and a pleasant smile. There were 3 staff members there waiting to assist customers. They also have security at the door. The attendant asked if i had an appointment. I advised I had two appointments that day. She checked me in for the first one and advised me she would check me in for the second one after the first visit was completed. She did just that. I didn't have to remind her because she found me in the waiting area. The waiting area has plenty of comfortable seating and to my surprise there was phone charging stations. There is also a pharmacy towards the back of the lobby. I had an awesome experience with Dr Schenkel and Dr Redmond. They both have excellent bedside manner and were attentive when listening to me and my needs. They were thorough in their care. Grady has done so much for putting this outpatient office in this community and the new South Fulton facility coming soon in Union City. Give these folks a try. They will take good care of your needs.

Had a appointment today for my yearly mammogram…read more The appointment was for 8am and I was told I needed to be there by 7:30. Check in was smooth and easy, and then I was told that they had to allow the machines to warm up before they could do my mammogram. Guess 30 mins isn't long enough, because we didn't start the exam until about 8:15. The tech told me it takes like 10 weeks to get the results back. Overall, staff friendly and when I left about 8:30 there was a few others in the waiting room, but I felt good knowing that I had gotten the machines all warmed up for the rest of the day.

I arrived by Uber as they were closing, Jasmine was so kind she opened the door to ask what I needed. She could tell my frustrations and had me come in and sit. She took my paper work to the Admin Kim and he made a few phone calls for me. Jasmine had to leave but they allowed me to stay in the lobby to figure out what my work would like me to do. I hadn't ate in 24 hours and the staff gave me some crackers and water, then the gentleman even took me back to the airport so I didn't have to get an Uber. I wasn't even a patient, other staff members checked on me when in the lobby. I've never felt so much kindness in one place. If I lived here and ever needed imaging done I would go here. They have an amazing staff and it's ran like a business should be. Great job!
