I have had nothing but great service at Vital Signs. This is my 3rd time doing business with them. The first time I had won a gift certificate from a church that they had donated to and I put it towards an 8' banner for my business. I then brainstormed with them and they did 3 sides of decals for me on an enclosed trailer. Now I'm back for a 3rd time. I will have them do work on window decals and a wall decal for my new shop. What I really like about Vital Signs is that every time I've stopped in they take the time to brainstorm with me on their high tech computers and we always come up with something terrific. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review because it would have been very easy for the situation to have been rectified. However, the appalling rude treatment I received from the owner, Joe, has left me speechless. I asked him to make a building sign for my company since we had just updated our company's logo. I sent him the file and he said it would be no problem. The day that the sign ended going up on our building I was out of the office. When my employees texted me a photo of the sign I immediately saw that our logo had been turned inside out. Unfortunately the worker had already left. I emailed the owner, Joe, about the problem I had with the sign. He responded that they had reversed my design because the sign background was black. If I wanted it fixed to the correct way I was going to be billed another $100. I thought this was ridiculous since I had not been notified of any artwork changes, and had never approved of any artwork changes. The owner responded that it was not his fault because my employees had told his worker, Pat, that the sign was ok. Then went on to say that it was my fault because I should have known this is what would happen. When I tried explaining why I needed understanding from my customer point of view, I was told that I was "too preachy" and that he was "done with me." My phone calls were ignored when I used my business line. It was only when I used my cell phone that the phone actually got answered. The phone conversation was even more rude. I was told that it was not his fault at all, that I had to take responsibility since my employee ok'd the design. (AFTER it had already been put on the building.) When I asked what would have happened had I been there and said no, my logo is inside out, he said he had no idea. When I told him I was appalled at how rude he was being to me he said that he didn't consider me a customer and could therefore treat me however he felt. He also said he didn't care if I filed a complaint with the BBB since I would have no case being that he refused to accept payment from us. He also made a comment about how I could complain to whomever I wanted but they would figure out pretty quickly what kind of woman I was from my complaint and that it would be invalid. In conclusion I absolutely cannot recommend this business to anyone. read more
