We have been shopping for a house for a while, and Vince provided two house inspections. He was referred by a family member and by our realtor. We did not buy the first house due to the issues that were discovered from his thorough inspection. We did not feel up to taking on a lot of the needed projects. We purchased the second house with great confidence, again due to his thorough inspection, which indicated we were purchasing a great house with a very short list of needed repairs. DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY. A botched inspection cost me 5 figures in remediation that should have been discovered.

Used VPHI on September 11 for home in Beverly Hills MI. While Vincent was responsive and did a great job on the home inspection, he failed on the sewer line inspection. He charged $150 extra for this service and was only able to get "half-way" through the sewer line. So minimally, half of the price should be refunded, and actually the entire price as I had to hire a qualified plumber to do the job and pay an additional $175. Asked Vincent for a refund and he was silent. read more

I hate to be leaving a non favorable review, as Mr Cameron was prompt and polite, but he unbelievably missed three gas leaks in our utility room. I'm definitely learning from this moment as I smelled something funny and faint in the utility room when we toured the house but never imagined it was gas. Next time I'll speak up instead of trusting the expert. Makes me worry about what else he missed that we'll be surprised with - feels like it could be anything! Also he was unable to do a sewer scope as his camera broke. Should have been a red flag that he showed up to inspection without a mask. I hired him when my preferred inspector got covid, and won't be doing it again. read more

Vincent could not make life any easier! Hubby and I were excited to have an offer accepted on a beautiful house! Once we sent back all the paperwork, it was 8 or so at night on a Tuesday... we left a vm and sent a text with all the requested information. Within 15-20, Vincent called back, he was helpful, explained the process, and booked us that Friday first thing in the morning. He mentioned he would be at the house for about 5 hours or so and we wouldn't need to be there the entire time. We showed up a couple of hours after him so we could plan out the changes we wanted to make and walk the property. We could not ask for a more helpful, knowledgeable and thorough job. He did not leave any stone unturned! The same evening, we had a summary list of the items that needed immediate attention and a over 100 page document with pictures of everything. We also requested a radon test for an additional price. .. glad we did! He found radon at high levels! We know know we need a radon mitigation system for an extra cost.
