Most importantly, seven years ago Laura told my wife that her hair did not look right and she may have a female problem. Reenie went to the doctor and had breast cancer. I feel Laura saved her life. Laura said that her stylists are trained to be aware of changes in a person's hair and scalp and advise the client accordingly. Thank you! The salon is friendly and all the stylists are professional and personable. We went there for prom updos and the wedding party for our daughter. It's just a great place. A large parking area and handicapped access too. My photos tried to capture this happening place and the professional relaxed atmosphere at Salon Enza.

I will have to retouch it, and I don't think I'll be returning. Regardless, had a great chat with the girl who cut my hair and gave me a chill nice "refreshing" experience for chopping off a few years worth of trauma. I walked in about four months ago because I was not especially happy with the salon I had been going to in Fairport for the past year. Joyce was lovely, warm, welcoming, and she "got" my hair which is thin and fine and fragile. I looked and felt like movie star Sharon Stone when I left. It was a beautiful blond color that brought out my natural highlights; I wanted a "just got out of bed" tousled, natural look and she gave it to me. Call Joyce if you want to look like a star, because for all we are doing right now for our family and friends and community, we women are stars!

I've always been satisfied, and, am the first to admit I can be fussy; I mean, who really isn't when it comes to looking nice?! I've always felt welcomed & heard. Tammy is as amazing & surely the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I would rave to everyone & anyone who I spoke w/ about how great they are. Fast forward & my latest experience really has me bummed out. I couldn't get in b/c getting an appt. is very difficult w/ the schedule lately & especially if you prefer your normal stylist. I felt comfortable enough to try someone new & trusted that I would be just as pleased. No offense b/c this person is super kind/nice & nothing personal, but, I surely wish that the professionals would have walked me through a bit more w/ how my grays would react adversely to the bleach highlights. My hair is soo super dry now & my nice & normally long layers are super choppy & unruly & are driving me nuts. I loved that Tessa was so conservative w/ her charging me & she's always charged me the very same amount. It's been nice for sure. I was charged much more (I respect the fact that most likely due to the dumb highlights I thought I would be pleased w/), but, still NOT happy that I spent so much to now be so unhappy & stuck w/ a dried head of choppy layers that aren't falling smooth & as sweet as they used to. Again, yes, fussy, but, when we go to a salon & especially one we've gone to many, many times b4 I would surely hope to be happy enough w/ the hairstyle/services at least until the next time. Not so. I'm bummed.:((((( ***Update*** Not quite sure how to update, but had to b/c let me tell you Tammy the owner is the bomb. She's amazing & quickly got back to me. She has provided me some products to help & did so ever so quickly. I've revised my review b/c she has reached out to me w/ kindness & I appreciate that.

The stylists at BANGZ! are all lovely, accommodating, and never have a one-size-fits-all approach, treating each of us like the individual Queens we are. I originally was going to get highlights and after talking about it with her she suggested ombre and I was so hooked on the idea! When she was done... It looked really uneven... but I don't like to complain or anything and she seemed so happy, so I figured it might look better when I can play with my hair and stuff... I got home and took pictures and it was WORSE than I thought! From the back the blonde was diagonal, on the left the blonde started at my ear and on the right it was below my shoulders. It was SO terrible I wanted to cry. Sunday last minute I got an opening with Erica and thank GOD she was available. She made sure to talk to me about everything she was thinking of doing and the final product was AMAZING! I'm SO happy with my hair and I get so many compliments. I'm soooooooo thankful for her and if you want your hair done right the first time, DEF go to see Erica! Thank you Erica so much!!!!

I've had very mixed experiences here. I've gotten my hair trimmed/waxes here before and they did…read morewell. However recently I went here to schedule an appointment for my wedding hair. First I scheduled a trial and my stylist cancelled twice over the span of about a month. At this point it was only two weeks before my wedding and they couldn't fit me in with another "senior stylist" so I went with another random stylist and understood appointment would be free of charge for the inconvenience. However once the trial was done (it took almost 3 hours and still wasn't quite right) I still had to pay 95+ tip as apparently only the hair cut was free (25) and I still was expected to pay for the styling. Then we get to my wedding day and I am supposed to have a senior stylist but was cancelled on a THIRD time the day of my wedding and was only told once I arrived at the salon. The same girl who did my trial did my wedding hair and I didn't complain much because who wants to complain on their wedding day? My bridal party also got their hair done and it was all beautiful but mine took an extra hour compared to my bridal party even though I requested a very very simple style , just curls and a little bit pinned back, and it came out very poorly despite me trying to steer the stylist in the right direction. I had to redo my hair completely afterwards even though I paid over 100 for my hair. I curled it myself and had a wedding guest who happened to do hair help me style it. Took less then 20 minutes and was perfect when we did it ourselves. After the wedding I looked back at the photos they took at the salon and I can't believe they let me walk out like it was! Totally falling out, messy, asymmetrical and bobby-pins showing (Photos from the salon and by the time I got home) About 3 weeks after my wedding when all the celebrations were done we called this salon back to explain what happened and ask for a partial refund or at least something. My mother who called was accused of "extortion" by the owner when she said she was calling before I posted this review... which is an honest review and we wanted to give them a chance to right it before complaining online. Then we were told we should have planned my wedding further out which has nothing to do with them messing up my hair so much. In the end they said they would call us back and it's been 4 days now. Overall really disappointing, This was the most stressful part of my whole wedding. They should have done more to compensate me or at least done my hair well... this was my WEDDING hair for crying out loud.

I showed up ready for my appointment, only to be told I "missed it" -- and instead of an ounce of flexibility, compassion, or basic customer service, they hit me with a $54 charge for absolutely nothing. Let me get this straight: I didn't receive a service, didn't sit in a chair, didn't even get a squirt of shampoo -- but they still charged me as if I had? What a brilliant business model. Take people's money, offer zero solutions, and call it "policy." The level of smug indifference was actually impressive. No effort to help, no reschedule, just a robotic "that's our policy" repeated like a script. It's wild that a business so obsessed with "no-shows" seems to have no problem no-showing on basic decency. I hope the $54 was worth it -- because that's the last dime this place will ever see from me. If you value customer service, honesty, or common sense, take your business anywhere else.
