The principal and all of the teachers have been amazing since day one...including the YMCA for after school care by the way. My daughter is about to enter middle school and I am so sad that fifth grade is almost over....She has been here since Kinder.....She is fluent in Spanish and it feels like we are in a private school the way that everyone here acts toward one another...JUST LIKE FAMILY...I am actually disappointed that I chose to send my almost 20 year old son to our home school....a little late for that. Though it is a small and newer school, it allows for a lower student to teacher ratio, giving our kindergartener more confidence when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers. She absolutely LOVES Fairmont! The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make a successful educational experience for the students and parents. Fairmont is committed to the whole child. They teach value lessons, character building, communication and leadership skills. We've seen tremendous growth in from beginning of the school year to end. High percentages of faculty quitting, surf club, gardening club, lab rats, summer school, galas, dances, continue to be canceled or non existent for lack of participation. It is so horrible. Please save the school Diocese of Orange! The employee in the office with hair dyed the color of a fire truck, against the school dress code also sends a confusing message and expectation.
