My sister and i live 5 hrs. away Mom needed help so i reached out to Village Caregivers about just a shower two times a week for Mom. I was doing Private Pay. Well, for the 1st couple of visits, things went great. Parents liked AMANDA, then she started calling in, and then it turned into no-call no-shows. I personally called the office and was told, "I'VE BEEN ON VACATION I JUST GOT BACK YESTERDAY." This location is extremely unprofessional i call no one answers. I leave messages (17) NO RETURN CALLS. Lucas went out to do the VA eval on 7/10/26 Mom was approved for 13 hrs. The company invoiced me for every visit. Now to discuss the events of August 2026 the aide only showed up 1 time the whole month 8/7/26 i got invoiced upon noticing it i called no answer left message i got an email from WADE McGLONE Esq (Village Caregivers, managing partner/ President of Finance) " You are correct, you VA auth for 2 hours a week covered the SINGLE shift in the period. I will delete the invoice. My apologies. AUG 7th 5:15pm-6:30pm. I've called this company about many issues, but they won't answer the phone or return calls for me , they did answer for my sister 2 minutes after i called. I also called the corporate number and left another message; no callbacks or email replies. The main problem i have i work in healthcare in my state, and this is elderly abuse and neglect in care for not only my mom but other families, and i will call adult services to report this matter. I told this company in a voicemail how they treated my mom and family; I'm sure we're not the 1st and won't be the last, and it's not acceptable. i have documented everything on my end. Only 1 visit for the month of August $26. i was billed for $104. for visits. The text message i got from the caregiver was insane " I WAS JUST LETTING YOU KNOW TO LET YOUR DAD KNOW I WONT BE THEIR MY DAUGHTER HAS STUFF GOING ON" that was on Aug 14th,2026 i agsin called the office spoke to some guy was told " IM NOT SURE I HAVENT TALKED TO HER TODAY" my reply was " THIS TEXT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL IS HOW EVERYONE COMMUNICATES?" I also asked about the last no-call, no-show, etc.. I have 45 days of stress from this company; I'm truly not sure where or why things went wrong.
