Phones are discouraged and you have to call the main line to speak to the residents but no one ever answers the phone. I live out of state so calling was crucial. I called at least 50 times and the phone was only answered twice! I had not seen my mom in 3 months because of stupid covid crap and was heading to the west coast. I wanted to see my mom before I left because I missed her and just in case anything happened while I was gone, so I emailed and called and left messages about working something out. You would think paying almost $6000 a month would at least get you a phone call and/or compassion, but no... I offered to do ANYTHING to make this happen, meet outside, get tested, wear a space suit, volunteer work there etc... just wanted to hug her, touch her, let her know I loved her. What did I get? A bull crap canned message about cdc...??? Wrote and called again and got the same response. I Was planning to take her out of there when I got home, however she passed the day I got there. At least I got to hold her one more time but I never got to see her or know if she knew I was there. I will never, ever forgive Jenny/Awakenings for this.
