Tucked away near the Perkins Road Overpass, bring your own chair, blanket, snacks, drinks, and listen to great music for a fair entry price when they are hosting concerts. The grounds are beautiful, and the acoustics are perfect. Follow their social media for events, and contact them for your next reunion, party, wedding, or other needs. Note, parking is all around the area, under the overpass and in other areas. You may have a walk a little, but it's well lit and beautiful.

Maybe I'm a highfalutin person. I don't know. But the Lyceum did not impress me at all. I will say…read morethat it is a good space to hold an event as it has plenty of room downstairs and up. What I didn't really care for was the look. The interior looks dated like nothing has been replaced since the 80's. The walls are all white and could probably use some artwork or a coat of paint. The chandliers should be replaced too as they looked old. I like venues that appeal to the eye as much as anything else when going to a party/event. The Lyceum didn't catch my eye. The staff is really nice over there and they have plenty of booze for the events so yeah.

A professional group that I'm involved with is considering this space for our closing party at a conference in Baton Rouge later this year. We didn't have an appointment but the manager just happened to be in and gave us a tour. What a fabulous space! I guess it's an old ballroom and while it was a bit grungy (can't fault them we dropped in unexpectedly), it's got such great architectural details. I hope this is where our party ends up.

The property is enormous with a rustic barnyard ready to be the setting for your next special event. It's completely ideal for weddings, where the ceremony is in the grassy field under a giant tree and the reception in the barn area. Twinklelights brighten the room and transformed it into something magical. Dr. Grace, the owner of the property is super helpful and hospitable to those that come to enjoy the beauty of his venue.
